In this exceptional mixed session, which could be a start of a new podcast series, Dražen Dobrila present some of the tracks produced by producers from the Adria region and charted on Mixmag Adria in the last few years.

It's a fantastic tribute to the local scene by Dobrila, a musician and DJ from Poreč. Creating electronic music from the early 2000's, he had his music released by Lovezone, Gentlemen Lounge and Family Grooves. Under the moniker Partito Jesus Comunista, he had an album in 2015., called ''Couch Guerilla''. Dobrila remixed Dzihan & Kamien's ''Stiff Jazz'' along with Marc Grabber...

Premiere: M.A.N.D.Y. vs Booka Shade - Body Language (Cioz Remix) [Get Physical]

'This June, Daniel Jaeger and Andrea Ljekaj bring their fresh perspectives to Cook Strummer's standout 2020 single 'Rising'.
The original of ‘Rising’ was part of the Words Don't Come Easy Vol. 7 compilation and aimed to get dancers in a state of transcendence. First up to remix it here is Berlin's Daniel Jaeger, a respected artist with an impactful sound on labels like Criminal Bassline, Katermukke and Bar 25 Music. He retains the warmth and organic feel of the original, but layers in an elastic bassline that gets you moving. The filtered vocals have a mournful edge, while the synths rise up and down the scale to bring a sense of hope.
Andrea Ljekaj is one of Croatia's most accomplished artists. Since 2019 he has run Croatia Gets Physical, which unearths and promotes the best new artists in his homeland. He also releases on this label, Oddity and Elrow, and has a powerful sound that often comes tinged with dancefloor euphoria. His expressive, textured take on 'Rising' has a darker feel, with pained vocals and prickly percussion churning over a menacing baseline. It's a gritty track that brings a freaky vibe to the floor.'

Partito Jesus Comunista isn't a party, isn't Jesus, isn't even a communist. PJC is in fact just a deep house, electronica and chill out producer from Poreč, Croatia. In trying to find his own style he doesn’t hesitate to put some guitars, voices and other organic sounds in his electronic music. PJC occasionally produces & plays with his friend Marc Grabber (together known as Grabber&Dobrilla), sometimes collaborates with Voland Le Mat and a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away he used to make music with bands like Manuelaivaiana, Mračni tipovi užasa, Tatiana Giorgi Band, Luna, Trauma...
