Pedro Freitas, also known as Part of the Noise , is a music lover and vinyl collector who started DJing at the age of 51 . He has always been a music enthusiast and is curious and always digging for new music . Pedro focuses on alternative music but collects vinyl from multiple genres . As a DJ, he plays indie dance, electronica, melodic house, afro house, and alternative music . Indie dance was the trigger for his DJing, and he was inspired by labels such as DFA and Discotexas. Pedro's love for music is evident in the lyrics of Best Youth & Moullinex's song, masterly remixed by Xinobi, that says, “I'm part of the noise, I can't get out, I'm part of the noise, You know I can't get out” . For Pedro, music is therapy, allowing him to put his daily stress and cares on the back burner for a bit and decompress .
