Pasabo ADE Mashup Pack 2017 (FREE DOWNLOAD)

Hi peeps, hope you like my first original song under the 'Pasabo' alias. The inspiration for the title comes from the frequent thoughts I have about my own homeland (Spain) and about how much I miss it. The mix isn't the cleanest, but I'm still learning! More stuff to come soon; maybe future bass, maybe progressive house... Guess you'll have to stick around and see, huh?

Hey y'all, I got bored during quarantine so I decided to take the dust off my turntables and start this new concept of a mix, centered around groovy and funky music. This is the sort of music I've always loved and I'd like to pay it homage by showcasing it periodically, possibly helping people discover their love for funk along the way!

Funk It Up Mixtape - Vol. 2

I was on vacation and away from my usual setup when I saw that Daði Freyr was hosting a remix competition for the hit song "Think About Things". Regardless, I had to step in and try my best, which I bring to you now.

Anyways, my remix mainly takes inspiration from the Nu Disco scene, laying down a powerful bassline which infuses the remix with groove, while introducing some elements from the Future Funk genre, having had as reference in this sense artists such as Party Pupils or Lenno. Nevertheless, some of the most prominent elements of the original song which made it so special to remix in the first place are kept, such as the trumpets or the guitars. All in all, this remix provides a punchy and summer-y version that I hope you enjoy!

Daði Freyr - Think About Things (Pasabo Remix)

After failing to win the last remix competition I signed up to, centered around Daði Freyr's "Think About Things", I became motivated to try my best at another one. As the great Michael Jordan once said, "it became personal with me" lol.

Anyways, with one day left (pun intended) for the remix competition to end, I bring you my own, groovier take on the original song, which preserves some of its main elements such as LOVA's amazing vocals and the main chords, as I believe these fit perfectly together. I hope you enjoy my submission!
