The Balearic pioneer’s mastery of the warm, dreamy chill-out material meets the cinematic craft of Danish composer and ambient producer Troels Hammer. Also in the mix is the Danish producer Anders Ponsaing.

‘Quiet Yellow Purple’ is the second single from Ambala’s forthcoming album Volume 2, the long awaited follow-up to his 2016 Volume 1, also released on Music For Dreams.

Phil Mison has been a pivotal figure of the Ibiza-scene since the early 90’s, heralding the Balearic sound in the UK and across the rest of the world. He has previously released music on Music For Dreams under the moniker Cantoma.

His studio talents are incontestable, but he is perhaps best known as a master behind the decks; an up-lifter, an inspirational educator and a creative visionary when it comes to DJing. He was selected as one of Montreal’s Top Beat Masters in the “Hour Magazine” and won a JPF Award in 1999 for the best song on a mixed compilation. But these marks of recognition are pale compared to the actual experience of being on one of his dancefloors. His current residencies include B018 Beirut, Circus Montreal, Cubes Abu Dhabi and previously 5 years at Stereo, Montreal. He hosts the global editions of the Ready Mix Sessions events (Beirut, Miami, Montreal, Abu Dhabi) along with the internationally broadcasted radio shows and podcasts. He has played all over the world from L.A. to London, New York to Ibiza, Dubai to Miami, Beirut to Toronto and around. His vibe is diffused universally across barriers of language and cultures. His most recent appearances include the Renaissance Event in Beirut with Satoshi Tomiie, The Creamfields Festival in Abu Dhabi with Sasha, Sebastien Leger, Marco Carola, Erick Morillo, Deadmau5, Underworld, Laid Back Luke and Calvin Harris, the Circus Event in Beirut with Steve Lawler and The Gatecrasher event in Beirut along with Anthony Papa.
