Hot of the heels of label head, Oliver Schories’ artist album - Blitzbahn - comes relative newcomer duo (in production terms), Yannick Muller and Pascale Voltaire with their debut release for SOSO, ‘Necesito’. Remixes are provided by Genji Yoshida, Jonas Woehl and Stefan Biniak.

Teaming up at Kosmonaut, Berlin back in December the pair complement each others individual styles with a shared appreciation of the deeper, more melodic side of Techno. Their track mirrors this love with crisp percussion, 80s sonic sensibilities and wildly impressive modular bass line.

On the remix, Genji Yoshida takes things deeper and more cerebral creating a vibey deep house cut full of tension and energy.

Jonas Woehl goes big with epic 80s-inspired cut. Imagine if M83 and Maceo Plex got together and had babies.

Finally, Stefan Biniak takes things in a classic melodic direction with clever musical touches enhancing the solid percussive foundation

Remember when we already spoiled you with our outstanding remixers Stefan Biniak, Acumen and Justin James? Remember when we promised you that you would hear more from our delicious Octopus? Well, the JAW family KEEPS ITS PROMISES! Octopussy was such a success that we asked completely new faces to join Jannowitz records and play with the Octopussy. And we couldn't believe what happened next. Three of our favourite producers said yes. The headquarter went crazy! The result is nothing less than an entire Octopussy Remix EP touching everything between house and techno - just like the original EP. You are very welcome!Our first remixer need no introduction. Betoko has been a legend for years. There is a lot the London based producer could brag about: releases on Diynamic, Get Physical, Einmusika, Katermukke; shows at almost every club you have ever heard of. Ans still he took the time to deconstruct Octopussy. His remix dripping with bits and details you will recognise from the original and new little add-ons - notably a kick as strong as we like it. ZWAI ist die zweite EP des deutschen Techno Live Duos Saite Zwei auf ihrem eigenen Label Free At Last.
Das Original startet mit einem Mix aus organischen Synthesizer-Bässen, welche, von verhallt-perkussiven Elementen umspielt, den Zuhörer zunächst in einen Tropfsteinhöhlen-artigen Klangraum entführen. Im weiteren Verlauf, hellt sich die Stimmung des Tracks immer weiter auf, der Charakter wird zunehmend sonniger und freundlicher und gipfelt mit dem Hauptbreak in einer angezerrten E-Piano Linie, die einem klassischen Funk- oder Jazz Song entsprungen sein könnte.
Mit Dapayk Solo und Atlantik haben sich Saite Zwei, auch dieses mal wieder zwei erlesene Gast-Remixer eingeladen - und der Plan ging auf!
Dapayk – Urgestein, lebende Legende und Techno Superstar - hat sich überwiegend auf die sonnigen „cheesy“ Elemente des Tracks konzentriert und eine klassische funky Techno Nummer produziert, die wir in diesem Sommer bestimmt noch auf vielen Festivals hören werden.

ZWAI is the second release by german based techno live act Saite Zwei on their own label Free At Last. The original version starts with a mix of organic synthesizer basses combined with reverberant-percussive elements and kidnaps the listener in a stalactite-like sound space. As the song progresses, the character becomes increasingly sunnier and friendlier and culminates with the main break in a distorted electric piano line that may have originated in a classic funk or jazz song.
With Dapayk Solo and Atlantik, Saite Zwei have again selected two exquisite remixers. - and the plan worked!
Dapayk – techno veteran, living legend and superstar - has focused mostly on the sunny "cheesy" elements of the track and produced a classic funky techno track that we're sure to hear at many festivals this summer. The duo Atlantik have remained faithful to their style as well, focusing on the deep and dark elements of the track and creating a massive techno club monster.

It is a new year and Heinz Music is ready to set it off with a bang! Daniel Jaeger is a familiar face to the family and especially loved for his skillful molding of synths. Together with the young and talented Raphael Hofmann he has set out on a deep and mysterious journey, resulting in their “Lost Unit” EP. The title track already sets the tone, and a dark and ominous bassline leads the way towards a soundscape of stabbing and atmospheric synths culminating in a powerful break. Secondly, “Kids On A Riot” continues with a flaring groove and massively pulsating bassline.  It is a kind of euphoria hidden in the melody, just eagerly waiting to create some frenzy on the dance floor. Daniel and Raphael’s third original track, “Generation Change”, funks it up a bit. A tight and bouncy drum work sets the scene, introducing mysterious melodic elements and chords, underlining the silky vocals.

On remix duty for “Lost Unit” they have gotten DJ Lion on board, the label owner of Patent Skillz and a guy considered to be one of the Balkan’s pioneers of underground music. Style wise the remix gets a bit rougher around the edges. It is a powerful dynamic going on here between DJ Lions dirty bassline and the somewhat reshaped melodic elements from the original. The second remix is from German based DJ and producer Joseph Disco, who is adored world wide for his captivating music and performance style. Joseph has put his hands on “Generation Change”, stripped it down to the essentials and then used the parts to create an infectious tune vibing off of the strong bassline and the deep and dark melodic synths, supported by neat percussions.

It is a huge release ready to create a stir among old and new followers, the style hitting the nerve of time perfectly. No doubt this great selection of tracks is soon to be heard on dance floors all over the globe.

Born & raised in the vibrant techno metropolis of Berlin, Pascale Voltaire has electronic music in his blood.
It all started in 2002 when Pascale was only 10 years old. The other kids would still try and fail at singing along with Las Ketchup’s “Ketchup Song”, while Pascale already developed a taste for electronic music. DJ Tomcraft’s banging “Loneliness” EP was the record that set fire to Pascale’s passion for electronic music – a passion that would soon become love.
Since 2009, he’s been rocking dance floors around the globe as a DJ & producer. House and Techno became his best friends – always by his side, always on his mind. He's in demand at the most recognized clubs & major festivals alike, thanks to his dynamic sets, unmistakable passion for music and excellent instinct for the vibe on the dance floor.
Pascale gained his recognition in the scene through projects such as 'Pascale Voltaire' & 'Ilu & Aaye‘ and has released on labels of well-known artists in the industry such as Pretty Pink – Deep Woods, Matchy – Beyond Now, Dirty Doering – Mukke & Oliver Koletzki – Stil Vor Talent.
In addition to his career as an artist, he also works as a booker & event organizer & is shaping the international techno landscape, inter alia, with his brand SPEECHLESS.
