Italy’s fastest rising name in house and techno returns to the respected Drumcode imprint with this blistering new 4-track EP, ‘Climax’. Featuring a distinctive vocal sample crescending over a typically thumping bassline, opening lead track ‘Climax’ grows gradually with the introduction of a single synth note and skipping hi-hats. Two beatless breakdowns increase the pressure whilst a new synth melody is introduced in the second, making for a powerful ending as all the elements join together.

‘Boost’ starts out deep and dark, with a high-pitched call echoing over a determined beat. The track changes course mid-way through with the introduction of a bassy, low-pitched synth melody, helping ‘Boost’ evolve into a catchier, more playful track.

‘Spectre’, a no-nonsense closing piece featuring a jittering synth note, rattling hi-hats and a trademark tension-filled breakdown.

‘Over The Clouds’, as its name would suggest, is the gentlest of the four tracks. Filled with dusty textures over a rumbling bassline, twinkling synths move in waves before lower-pitched chords join, adding a real sense of depth to this production.

Overall, ‘Climax’ is an outstanding example of Faraone’s ear for detail as a producer: his experience as both a resident and touring DJ clearly feeds into his skill for manipulating tension in his productions like he does on the dancefloors. Having recently warmed up for Adam Beyer at Tenax, Marco Faraone’s relationship with the iconic label continues to grow.

Lauter Unfug releases a 8 Track compilation that includes tracks by residents and friends that helped shape the label over time. This release merges the musical influences of the label and reaches out from deep and soulful house to Tech House and Techno. Every track has its own individual character and the well composed remixes underline that every artist has been guided by his unification to the label which has engaged in promoting them around Europe and the world. 
The label has also given the artists the opportunity to experiment and therefore release some tunes that sound different to what you might expect given their past releases, so be ready to anticipate some surprises along the way.

2001 kam ihm mit Freunden die Idee Parties zu veranstalten, weit ab von Kommerz. Dort konnte er seinen individuellen Stil ausleben. Die Anfänge waren im alten Panzerwerk Ziesar und zogen dann 2005 nach Verlorenwasser. Die Parties stießen auf große Resonanz und etablierten sich zu den besten Undergroundparties in der Umgebung. Bis 2007 war er dort als Veranstalter und DJ tätig.
2002 war sein erster Aufritt im Tresor bei einer NEW FACES Nacht am Mittwoch. Seine erfolgreichen Auftritte blieben nicht unbemerkt und so ist RO seit 2005 dort Headquarter. Zusammen mit den anderen DJ´s des Club gestaltete er bis zu letzt den Mittwochabend und begleitete die Gast DJ´s. Seit 10 Jahren ist er nun Resident.

Markus Klee is without a doubt one of the most consistent guarantees of quality Tech House music in the Berlin underground scene in the last decade. Him owning a residency at our club makes us more than proud to present his latest productions „Phat“ and „Inspiration“ on our Ritter Butzke Studio label.

“Phat” comes with a progressive groove that is pushed with dark glittering sound effects and soothing organ moments in the breaks. Dapayk pushes the progression of the original and finally escalades the musical idea in a trippy acid excess.

“Inspire” is more laid back and gives a lot of room for the irregular droplet sound that seems to be falling from above in the track. David Keno hardens this softness and gives it a much deeper feel with rising and falling synths sounds in his remix.
