ACT777 - The Hills We’ve Chosen is the seventh act of rebellion, an all gender diverse production. The record unites Linn Elisabet’s transgressive techno productions with Rå’s eclectic poetry, portraying and reimagining trans, non-binary and queer lives. The Hills We’ve Chosen is released in a limited 12” format, where each cover is uniquely designed by Farvash, in a three layer transparent and holographic celebration of gender diverse beauty and interconnectedness. Among the guests of the release we find multidisciplinary artist and Bpitch affiliate Metaraph, No Gender head Angel Karel, and Hybral, who runs the FLINTA-centering collective Subverted in Berlin.

Klëpta Schwarz serves us a fierce blend of emotional trance melodies and harsh techno kicks this week to alter our minds!

"This set is inspired by my EMDR therapy. I was in my psychotherapist's waiting room when I heard the melody of Max Richter's "On the Nature of Daylight". It reminded me of a remix I really love called "OTNOD" by Lil Crack, so I wanted to construct my set around these 2 tracks. I wanted to create a set based on hard trance and hard techno in order to have a balance between poetry and emotion of hard trance melodies and the hardness and darkness of different hard techno kicks."

Klëpta Schwarz is a young queer trans·disciplinary artist : sometimes performer, stage director, photographer and some latetimes DJ. Their favorite gen(d)re are cyborgs’ orgies : half-machines, half feelings dancing on post-apocalyptic rhythms. They have a kink for big kicks. If you mix the power of vigorous techno with hardcore ambient poetry and you spice it up with cyborg’s noises, you’ll get the freaky fluidity of light and darkness malted together. This is the sound of a gender fluid queer revolution coming to your rave.

clarity is from Canada and had the great pleasure of raving in London's hard techno scene. During her brief yet full-on exposure to London rave, she frequented Jaded and FOLD, hearing first hand from her favourites including viscerale and Tham. She became drawn to trippy, spacey yet hard, industrial sounds that are fast and expressive. Her energy on the dancefloor, as captured in her front row Boiler Room appearances (e.g. Djrum), is present in her music and is present in her demeanour in real life. She wishes everyone good wellbeing and hopes to be united at the dance one day.
