The Great Amen Break Fairy

I Love You

Experimental track using a lot of layering and sampling Kimbra for the tick-tock (inspired by my Ableton modification that uses her voice as the metronome because, yknow, why not) and Melanie Martinez for "lyrics".

Inspired by trip-hop and infusing my own little 'depressing' take on the genre. 90% of this was done using an Ableton Push 2.

Tick Tock (Alt. Mix B)

Been working on this off and on again, can't find myself in a happy place with the drums. Lead synth is a mellotron organ sample ran through a million things and back which is pretty neat.

1:34 - Kratom - Couldn't shape it up in to something I was happy with.
2:04 - Pads Tape - Experiment with tape recorder.
5:50 - Survive - Game music. Used for slow-paced action.
6:21 - Dogwatch - More game music. Idle and combat music, combat not included but is just a faster version.
7:24 - Piano Jam - Playing a MIDI keyboard late night. Weird cheap guitar sound was dubbed over after performing.
9:37 - Tell Me - Not sure. Could have just been an experiment with a vocal plugin?

10:45 - Discworld - The early version of Morpork before it got massively retooled.
11:16 - Free - Madonna sample flip. Couldn't get it varied enough as much as I love the sample.

14:50 - Night After Night - A sample flip I really loved but wasn't able to get much variety out of. Some drum experiments in here.
16:19 - Seas of Canada - A BoC inspired jam. Some cool  chords in the second half.
