Deep Inspiration Show Records proudly presents Family Things Vol. 2, the second instalment of the various artist 12” series focusing on the inner circle of our global family. 

Assembled as always with love, the release features welcome contributions from friends and collaborators from Germany, Croatia, South Africa, USA and Scotland. 

A1. Our friend Jan Kincl, the Zagreb-based producer, opens the record with Daylight (You Are My), a beautiful slow-burning track that doesn’t hide a serious nod to the original ‘hi tech soul’ blueprint. In line with his previous work, the track touches on the space where techno, house and jazz collide. 

A2. Detroit’s Alton Miller steps up with an ear-catching remix of Daylight. Aside from being there at the dawning of house music, Alton’s subsequent work has secured his status as one of the Motor City’s finest artists. Masterful work on the keys and an infectious groove cast Daylight in a completely new context. 

B1. The flipside starts with Wolford Heifer, aka Ntshabeng Donald Motseo aka Gary Hattenberger, the Limpopo-born producer now based in Johannesburg. The talent behind the Dirty Analog Records label delivers the curiously-named Odd Socks, a warm and organic deep house track featuring Inner Shift Music’s Brad Peterson on flute and keyboards. 

B2. Closing the EP are Johannesburg’s Benklawk and Mabutana, also known as Tebogo Skhosana & Buti Messiase. Having released last year on Do It Now Recordings they now step forward here for DISR with Damage Control, a seriously deep and murky house cut that’s perfect for those hazy late-night moments.

The dedication to deep has no constraints when it comes to Deep Inspiration Show Records- as deep music is a universal language; thus, it only makes sense to gather pure artists from around the world and allow them to speak to your soul & dreams through the vibes and machines. 

This journey is Respect House Cultures; an EP series and global tour for the groove connoisseur, showcasing the fine qualities of artists ranging from the EU to the Motherland SA. Some might be new to you, others you already know and respect, regardless, all items on the menu are premium select.

First up on volume 1 is RR aka René Raabe (Germany) featuring Melchior Sultana (Malta) on synth lead & setting the listener on a deep departure to sexy smooth-cruising late night Electro with "Train Station". Enter chords full of color and imagination, 808 stepping, and a most confident bassline...of course that feeling is sure to captivate you in jazzy synth warmth and massage your mind.

Next we arrive in Space with Astral Projections courtesy of Johannesburg producer and Jimpster fan, Maddquest returning to DISR after a strong single here a few years back; arial highs will certainly be place you find yourself floating in this modern Deep House tour; with vintage samples, and hazy soul vocals complimenting the chilled rhythms, and charming melody- mixed by Melchior Sultana  in a sharp way that endures.

Following up strong from Naples, Italy is highly prolific and highly skilled artist, The Mechanical Man with Interview. Here he gives us a resume of well crafted production where mature feeling is all in the construction; dense kickdrums with organic mechanics, vintage dialogue and classy downtown seaport warmth lives in its vibes and smoothly entice you to glide.

In our 4th selection- The rare and always quality Allstarr Motomusic arrives from Zürich, Switzerland to take you to a Deep Horizon; skillfully mixed, embrace the sunset 7pm sensuality in the chord personality, serenaded by silky analogue drums and therapeutic pads- indeed, premium grade Deep House designed for the deeper layers of the mind and body listening experiences, with an inviting, sexy-lounge atmosphere.

Concluding this first volume of the world tour in a magnetic way is the renowned Soweto DJ Kgomotso aka KRONIQ making his official debut along with Melchior Sultana on "Against The System" ; crisp and crunchy drums, dreamy vibes, and lively rhodes touches from Melchior Sultana truly make this an escape from the system and an entrance into elevated, conscious, and permeating musical frequency meant to relax and set your aura on cruise mood.

All tracks are mastered with precision and top quality by Sven Weiseman for the premium listening experience.

This should see some day a vinyl release; but for now free your mind and focus away from format, music is about Feeling.
