[PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB] presents its 67th release: Daverage J. Normal — Ground State EP

From the fog of Croydon, like a radio transmission from the depths of the subconscious, comes Daverage J. Normal (@thedaverage) — debuting on [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB] with a story where electronic music doesn’t just play — it breathes. Ground State EP is the opening scene of a film shot in the twilight of inner space.

Four original acts:

::: “Sated” sets the tone with minimalist yet hypnotic pulses, feeding a subtle hunger with sonar-like waves.
::: “Finish What You Start” acts as a manifesto of intent — looping patterns build a quiet resolve, drawing the listener deep into its spiral of determination.
::: “Ghost” is a shimmer of echoes — sonic phantoms that slip through the air, returning in whispers to haunt the edges of perception.
::: “Being” floats like breath on glass — delicate, impermanent, and laced with the residue of what was.

The remixes become alternate montages — new lenses, new shadows:

::: Protyv (@protyv) dissects “Being” with meditative precision — a stream of reflected consciousness where each sound resonates like internal dialogue.
::: Oldschool_Dubtechno .Producer (@enercube & @x_fr) delivers the “Ultimate Dub” — a deep dive into foundational dub techno, reverent yet forward-looking.
::: Individu (@echo-organik974) reshapes “Being” in noir tones — like a sleepless city echoing only with traffic lights and heartbeats.
::: d.lawrence (@d-lawrence-3000) renders “Ghost” as an atmospheric thriller — ghost steps in an abandoned terminal, tension hiding behind every reverb.
::: emesh (@music_ams) signs off with “Ghost (on the clouds)” — a dream over the void, floating but grounded, radiant but shadowed by silence.

Ground State EP pulses like a dot on a radar — neither beginning nor end, but pure presence. It’s a sonic meditation on what lies beneath: unhurried impulses, rhythms without force, depth without bottom.

Releasing music for nearly a decade, recent months have seen Gould make waves with releases on labels such as Lost Records, Lapsus and Snatch! whilst picking up support from the likes of Jamie Jones, Riva Starr and Supernova. The rising British talent now joins the Solid Grooves roster, appearing next to producers such as Wade, Dennis Cruz, David Pher, not to mention label founders PAWSA and Michael Bibi.

‘I’m Feelin’ Good Right Now’ is percussive and intricate from the off, meandering forward using infectious drums before introducing a spoken word sample and a cacophony of rhythmic elements. ‘All About Good Times’ then brings in a rumbling bassline and suspenseful soaring synths whilst piercing vocal cries erupt sporadically throughout the mix.

Say hello to one of our all time favourite producers: Christian Bonori was born and raised in Italy but soon conquered Europe and the rest of the world. He started out in 2000 when electronic music had already reached a proper amount of recognition all around the globe. He is a true legend and we're super happy to welcome him on the label. Christian is known for killer productions and an eye for the detail. That's why he was already discovered by some of the biggest labels: Suara, Yoshitoshi, Time Has Changed and the list continues. But not only that. It seems like every artist wants to remix Christian's tracks. His work has been reinterpreted by Felix Krcher, Pig&Dan, Hans Bouffmyhre and many more!His debut EP is called Indus - like the famous river in Pakistan. It's a melodic bomb that's full of hypnotic grooves and percussions. Its key melody spirals through the track for six and a half minutes and is carried by a constant four to the floor beat catapulting you into a different universe. And as we've already told you: Everyone wishes to remix Christian. So we had to decide on another great producer for that. In the end, our friend Beatamines took his precious time and transformed Indus in a more melancholic kind of track. His remix is super groovy as well but shoved the main theme more into the background, focusing on minor chords and a minimalistic break with synth elements for the little extra. But let's get to the second track of Christian's Jaw Dropping EP. Dabih is the name of one of the stars in Capricornus. Its that spherical energy that definitely reflects in the track. The driving house beat is supported by choir like chants that could be soundscapes coming from space. But - of course - we can't stop here. After inviting a superstar like Beatamines for a remix, we asked our beloved Daniel Jaeger who Berliners will know from the Criminal Bassline parties and label or Wilde Renate's Bordel Des Arts - one of the coolest parties in town. He completes this perfect house release with a more percussion oriented version of Dabih that is a little more stripped back, less drama and buildup but without lacking Christian's core aesthetic.
