On what is MUUI’s seventh album on his Here Now imprint, following on in the same vein as his 2020 long format album ‘Your Revised Reality’ - spanning more than forty tracks, MUUI shares a reflective stream of conciseness embodying the emotive moods of the deeply human experience of becoming, growing, dissolving, transforming and the encapsulating awareness of our interconnection.

Born from his Inherent experimenting and engaging with analogue machines - the album is derived from live hardware recordings during 2021 - documenting an echo chamber of experiences - carving out a captivating work of art, joining the dots of inspiration between light and dark from emotive atmospheric immersion to soul searching abstraction and club-focused tracks - all crafted with his unique approach to electronic music.

Selected singles from the album will be released over 2021 prior to official release end of the year.
Early access to the full album release will be exclusively on Bandcamp. 
The BC release will include an exclusive recording of selected tracks from the album pieced together and performed live.

Francisco Basso - Friendly Voices (GastoM Remix)

Our latest White Sand EP comes from acclaimed Spanish producer Pedro Sanmartín, who has created a flurry of lush soundscapes that rise and fall in intensity, driven forwards by snaking melodies and ethereal chords.

The opening track ‘White Sand', from which the release derives its name, exemplifies Pedro's mastery of taking his listeners on a journey.

As clipped vocal samples echo in the background, he teases and then releases beautiful modular synth lines, all the while playing with evocative pads to create a listening experience that is nostalgic yet beautiful, refined yet loose.

His dub version of the title track follows next on the EP, and builds on his already stellar work. Now with added weight to the kick drum, the track feels heavier, but also more pared back. Pedro trades in some of the more prominent melodies from the original version for a mix that centers itself around its percussion, with the result being six straight minutes of groove that will perfectly soundtrack many Mediterranean sunsets this summer.

On ‘Atlantis', the producer delivers a sweeping, dreamlike funk that will fill any dancefloor. Glittering arpeggios are punctuated by thick, stabbing bass notes, creating an irresistible combination. The drums are simple and allow the gorgeous, shimmering melodies space to breathe, while being bouncy enough to push the rhythm forwards.

For remix duties, we've recruited Plecta and Nhar, who each take their turns at offering their own unique spin on the Spaniard's original productions.

Nhar goes straight for the kill with his French House inspired remix of ‘Atlantis'. Featuring a disco-tinged groove, combined with a stiff beat and repeating bassline, he establishes an intoxicating rhythm straight away that does not let up for a full eight minutes.

Meanwhile, Plecta introduces soaring, hypnotic vocals to ‘White Sand', creating an entirely new atmosphere, something altogether more lyrical and mysterious. But rather than soften the original track up, he adds new rolling djembe drums and a new swing that makes Plecta's take immediately danceable.

To kick off our third compilation, YION Waters, here's a lovely little fish pond of a track: 'Wolkenblau' is the combined effort of label co-founder and talk-of-the-town Felix Raphael and CLARA, Berlin-based DJ and passionate YION A&R head, who makes an impressive production debut with this one. A soulful, deeply meditative track, pushed along by playful synths and a front-and-center lead guitar. LIke a clear day's sky reflected in the rippling surface of the water, this track finds beauty in calmness. And beautiful it is.

Finally, the time has come. We send of a year of highs and lows with a compilation of only highs: This is 'YION Waters' - an exquisite anthology we put together for you over the last couple of weeks, lining up anything from trickling brooks to thundering sea storms. For the full listening experience we recommend a walk outside in the rain, a quick swim in the ice-cold arctic ocean, or simply a little bath at home. Anything you like, but just as in life, the water is essential.

Second release, secondo lap, for the brand-new label Saturn Return. The coproduction between Robbie Akbal and Rowee fills the dance floors with dramatic melodies.
The lead synth seems to be perpetually shape-shifting, the overall mood is tense, powered by loops thick with bass and intensely hypnotic that you could listen to for hours.
After 3 minutes of straight clubbing, a ray of light enters with the voice of KnowKontrol, breaking the rules with soaring vocals like only he can.
It’s a fusion between the melancholy and the hopeful. Its deep reassuring embrace is hard to resist.

This kind of technique can cause dance floors to erupt. It’s unconventional dance music.

Dance Spirit signs the first remix of the label. The original's swung groove is replaced by a faster and straighter rhythm.
The clanging melody is amplified by a loud wall of bright pads, stabs full of touching tones and melodies that burrow into your brain. It will certainly get dance floors moving, opting for a heads-down vibe which splices jacking beats with twisted passages of psychedelic tones.

Cruster is back with his unique sounds after his successful EP in 2019.

After many organic house releases this four tracker EP has 3 amazing original deep house tracks and a wonderful remix from Martin Roth. 

Soft melodies on solid electronic grooves. The EP title track Echoes is a great mirror of this strange year we left behind us. 

Sticking to our quality standards, we asked one of our biggest favorite, Martin Roth to make a remix. His debut on our label couldn't be better, an outstanding slow hypnotic deep house, which is easily playable and a very DJ friendly work.
