Released in 1997, this collaboration between Snitzer & Mc Coy and Humate captures the intensity of European techno at the time. The Heavy Mix rhythm presses forward with a force. Synth lines swell in arcs that hover above the drums.

The combination of producers brought together different strengths. The drive and weight of Snitzer & Mc Coy with the melodic sensibility Humate had honed across records like Love Stimulation. The result is a piece that can fill a floor while keeping an edge of mystery intact.
A defining release for Superstition and a track that has carried its power into new generations of listeners, it holds its place as part of our Classic of the week selection.

Just like the sun plays a big role in bringing everything back to blooming life after those long and cold winters, I also see it as the driving force that is guiding us through our own lives with all the ups and downs.
It's a symbol for endless energy, positivity and love.
And what ever happens, when ever the next 'Winter' is coming, the Sun keeps nourishing my inner deep confidence that I will be okay - in the end.

Fly Boy Records favourites https://soundcloud.com/myfrienduk are back with their ‘In & Out’ EP. 3 stand out tracks that flaunt the duo’s ever expanding ability to push the boundaries of dance music production.

We open with the gutsy title track ‘In & Out’ - a rolling melodic techno beast, donning sharp synth lines & crispy percussion underpinned by an earth shaking kick drum. A surefire weapon for lockdown DJ sets.

We move through the EP into ‘Everyday’ - chunky drums and a driving bass line push this club ready track forward, sprinkled tastefully with vocal snippets and countering synth lines to keep ravers and headphone listeners equally satisfied.

We finish up with the weird and wavy ‘Chicken Lizard’ - A real ‘journey’ track, with a pulsing, melodic synth progression taking centre stage. Reverbed FX, synth lines and vocals fill the sound spectrum, bringing us to a large pay off towards the end of the tune and rounding off this EP nicely.
