Stephan Bodzin: a classically trained musician, vastly experienced producer and master of melody. He has built a reputation through countless releases under many aliases, and through his dramatic and dynamic live set capturing the hearts of fans worldwide. For Afterlife, Bodzin bottles the infectious energy of these shows into two epic, colourful landscapes of sound, “Strand” and “Catamaran”.

The richly talented duo Mathame featured on the second Realm Of Consciousness compilation and have since been regulars in the sets of Tale Of Us with some sought-after, unreleased tracks. Their distinctive treatment of vocals marks their tracks out instantly, nowhere more so than on ‘Nothing Around Us’, with the cyber voice of the young Italian artist Lyke. The top quality production and original sound continue with the more understated ‘22’ and end with another prime example of Mathame’s vocal work, ‘Fade Into You’. Township Rebellion step up with the autumnal-inspired, adventure-ridden four-track EP Balance. Opening track Romeo revolves around a sparse, dramatic bassline and similarly sentimental synths, making for introspective flashes on the dancefloor. On November were greeted by grand melodies with huge, spacious pads and monumental breakdowns, the perfect ingredients to spark up those emphatic, hands-in-the-sky type of moments. Meanwhile, Monocloque flips the script and reveals ample pads in a spectral, dark sound palette, decked with ominous synths and looming resolutions. Splatters of percussion and haphazard chords are key on Compass North, rounding up the release in a similarly lofty yet dance-provoking manner.

I'm a music curator, a designer and a creator with a bachelor degree in mechanical engineering, i gather and hunt electronic and dark melodic techno gems but every now and then i might deliver or collaborate in a mix that could save someone's life one day.

I decided to approach playlist creation in a similar way as I would in one of my motion and graphic designs or the way i would in optimizing an automotive engine. These playslists and mixes you are finding in my timeline are the background score of my life, and the ending credits as well, each playlist, born and survived a whole semester or two, so before entering, know well that these are the holy lands that survived the martyrdom, blood, sweat and the endless sleepless nights with me.
