"Dearly Departing'' is paradoxically an ending and a beginning, inspired by the married duo’s move away from their college neighborhood to their first home in the suburbs. Melancholy lyrical narrations juxtaposed with syrupy sweet flourishes on electric and acoustic guitar bid farewell to a season of wide-eyed youthful angst with "Shore Thing," while greeting the next chapter of life with more sophisticated intrigue, evidenced in writing and production - though still only 8 tracks per song.

Sandbar is the concept song for Pasta Sauce's debut EP, Shore Thing. Its ambient vibes flow smoothly like the tides of Lake Michigan as it reflects on growing up and letting go of those we love.

This is our first swing at an EP and it's been taking a while to get the time between school, work, and finding the motivation to sit down and record all the tracks. This was self-produced so mad respect yo. 

We have been on paths for great opportunities at university, however, our lives back home feel like they are leaving us behind. Friends and family are experiencing changes without us, and we only find out at routine visits. This album is a swift walk through what has happened over the past year back home. We hope you enjoy this album and others to come. Thank you for supporting us.
