Simple unedited improvisation with one microphone. Just thought I'd do something different for once... Recorded on my phone in the middle of the night, that is also the reason why the Rhodes isn't in sync with my playing... Also, I didn't do any editing, so bare in mind that some parts aren't perfect, as this is an impro :P

Plates Fall Down

This is a composition I did about two years ago, but it's (sadly?) still my favorite composition so far. It's gone with me throughout the years and I now finally had the chance to record it in a studio for an exam. This is the completed piece. (there may come out a live version at some point as well)

Life Is No Symphony

Just bought a Korg Minilogue, and after some issues with the power plug being for British sockets, I finally got it running. This is the first track I made with it. I might use this in something in the future

Wrote this a while back and had it recorded in less than 20 minutes by a professional string quartet. The title is simply because a lot of people associated some parts of it with Japan.

A Travel Journal From Japan

Everything in this song was recorded using a mandolin which I got after my grandfather passed away. He got it from his father and now it's in my hands. Decided I'd make something with it and then I suddenly realised that it kinda makes me think of the idea of smoking a cigar, which my grandfather used to love many years ago.

I may consider taking this idea and making it into a more complete song, but for now I think this is good. I mean, I think it's kinda cool that everything's a little out of time almost as if the musician's drunk.

Next time I'm honouring my grandfather, I'll try to write an opera instead xD
