You sang this song to Phil and I in 1990 in NYC. It was our last night together. We sent a napkin to you asking you to sing us a song. You sang this song to us. He was in the Air Force. We would see other as often as we could over the years. This night was a sad night because I ddin't know if I would see him again. We had no idea if you would sing a song for us or even if you did, what the song would be and this was the song. We searched the entire next day looking for your CD. I had to board my plane and he promised to send me your CD when he found it. He found it and he mailed it to me. That was almost 20 yrs ago. I looked for that CD this evening and couldn't find it. He was on my mind and your song was ours. I thank you for that.

BTW, It was our final parting song. How appropriate. Who knew? We were so crazy about each other. I'm certain we would still be just as crazy about one another now. This song has brought closure over the years as well as giving back that night...a wonderful evening together as you sang this song for us, never knowing if he would come back. AGAIN...thank you!
