Prolific house DJ and producer Thierry Tomas teams up with Belgian producer Pat Lezizmo for a two tracker on Steve Bug’s home for more reduced, hypnotic, and raw sounds, Sublease Music.

The Boy Who Recorded Birds is the title track for this release, and sees the pair collaborate on an amped up groover that instantly draws listeners (and dancers) in and keeps them locked throughout. A swinging, deep groove sets the tone, while the addition of various vocal snips, synth washes, and a funky bass keep the track moving and evolving throughout. A real treat from start to finish.

The Girl Who Drew Flowers maintains the funkiness, but boils things down to a more minimal state of affairs. The track leaves lots of space to get lost in, while carrying the vibe ever forward via clever drum programming and an infectious groove.

Frederick Alonso was present at the label's kick-off together with Pat Lezizmo with the 'Tablao' single which is still appreciated by dj's and record shops.

5 years later Frederick is back with his third album called 'La Vie En Basse'. This project took him 3 years and showcases his exquisite skill for building drums, deep chords and atmospheric productions.

First track is 'Day Lovers', with a classic Detroit sound and dark, dreamy chords. 'Low Love' represents best his style with a breathing-like vibe in the middle section of the track.
'La Vie En Basse' is the album title because Frederick is seen as the ultimate sub bass freak by his peers. For 'A Girl Alone In Chicago' he used the Korg PolySix synthesizer to create that typical, catchy synth vibe.

Personal favourite 'Continuais' sets the tone with a French dubby vocal, along with his underground signature take on minimal techno.

Adding something special to the album, 'Diversity Duke' grabs attention with a positive vocal hook and vintage Chicago house style. 

Pushing things deeper there is 'Hamelin' with a deep melodic bassline and filtered vocal hooks. Working alongside label owner Pat Lezizmo, 'Anon' came as a result of blending various projects we've collaborated on.

Spanish vocalist Rocio Starry is featuring on 'U' to deliver a dreamy deep house track with cool melodies and deep, lush pads.

To finish the album there is a re-interpretation of 'Stay' which was made together with Belgian singer Wendy Demey. 
Using cut-up, dubby snippets of the original vocal, it's been given a full rework with a dusty house loop, toms and smart usage of the original’s drum effects to build momentum.

Pat Lezizmo delivers a groovy remix of 'Continuais', dedicated for the dancefloor.

Motomitsu is a Japanese producer, DJ, Children’s book author, Illustrator, Poet living in Paris. The tracks of this EP are inspired by the original Detroit House Music, however it’s not an imitation. The tracks are made with Japanese sensitivity and Parisian atmosphere.

I paired  Pat with my good friend and crew mate from The Unusual Suspects Brent Northey. Brent is a great House DJ, but a killer in the downtempo realm so I knew it would be a perfect fit. The eclectic style and sound of Belgian DJ & Producer Pat Lezizmo journeys through Deep, Tech and Minimal elements of House music drawing influences from early jungle and rave as well as funk, soul and hip-hop. Pat first put out an original EP for Neglected Grooves and has subsequently released on Smooth Agent, Midi Mood, Groovetraxx and has become a firm family member of Henri Kohn’s imprint Conya Records releasing his debut album ‘At The End’ in 2013. A growing reputation has led to building a discography of collaborations and remixing with the likes of Leach, Le Babar, Bruno From Ibiza, Henri Kohn, Henri Josh and Miss Ann-P.

Submersing himself into the ‘At The End’ album project Pat travelled Europe to collect sounds and experiences with house music at the forefront of his journey, taking in Ibiza, London, Berlin, San Sebastian and Tarifa clearly showing a demonstration of his passion, imagination and understanding of real underground music crafting a sound that was created for house music lovers to enjoy.

a 24 track DJ mix album ‘Deep-Nation’, together with Henri Kohn, on Conya plus new
projects planned with Midi Mood Records, Soul Heat, as well
as an album remix package with Conya Records including remixes from the likes of Jay Tripwire, Echonomist & Volta Cab along with the excellent collaboration with Federico Fleres on Alma Soul Music “Trust In Me’ EP sure to open further doors for the talented outward thinking artist.
