This song is inspired by the joyfulness I saw in the Cuban people during my short stay there. Life without music, without dancing, is dull, not worth living, in my opinion.

Palm Tree House

There are these people who can capture you just with a gaze. It's like a chill that runs through your back that lights a fire on your chest. These people who wanna make you dance, even when there is no music around, that make you smile just with a memory. Like an earthquake, that comes without warning, but you don't want it to stop. Like a pouring storm that thunders through your system. It makes you feel alive, thrilled, excited and intrigued. These people have the ability to freeze time, blur the noise, add colour to the night. Their voice soothes you, their laughter warms you. And you hope you can get them, “catch” them, but then you realize they are not to be caught, but admired. They are independent, free, strong yet delicate. There is an art to these people, hard to explain, but impossible to miss. 

This is the Girl with the Saxophone for me.
