LILITH’S RIB is an electronic female trio led by DJ Patajana, singer/lyricist Antonia Vai and virtuoso flutist Fanni Zahár. Patajana mixes deep and melodic techno from hypnotic 100 to bouncy 130 bpm, Antonia Vai brings dynamic vocals that range from soulful, soft and dreamy to raw spoken word as Fanni Zahar adds enchanting and hauntingly beautiful melodies that rounds off the trio's sound impression. Through the joy of improvisation, deep and progressive rhythms are combined with powerful and haunting live elements. Their empowering female energy leads to a transformative journey and a cathartic dance experience.

Das Ende des Sommers geht mit so vielen Gefühlen einher, Sand und Glitzer bedecken
noch Haut und den Schlafzimmerboden, die Melodie meines Sommerohrwurms verblasst
nach und nach wie die Sommerbräune und mein Herz ist randvoll - mein Kopf dreht sich.
Unendlich viel erlebt, beschenkt worden mit lauen, langen, durchtanzten Nächten,
wunderschönen Momenten mit alten Freunden und neuen Gesichtern. So viel bekommen,
so viel gegeben.
Runterkommen, verarbeiten, zu mir finden. Gefühle kommen wie Ebbe und Flut, die Langsamkeit aushalten. Erinnerungen festhalten, Gedanken loslassen.
Noch einmal massieren Bässe die Seele, noch einmal mit geschlossenen Augen, langsam
tanzen, mich fallen lassen.
Aufs Sofa fallen lassen und liegen bleiben. Auftanken, ok sein mit mir.

Bei dem Podcast von Patajana handelt es sich um eine angenehme musikalische Überraschung. Die ausgewählten Werke sind unkonventionell und geprägt durch ihren entspannten Charakter. Die Musik versetzt den Hörer in einen träumerischen, tranceartigen Bewusstseinszustand. Die Kombination der verwendeten Elemente und Harmonien lassen das Alltagsbewusstsein in den Hintergrund treten und verblassen. Stattdessen eröffnet sich die farbenfrohe Welt der unbegrenzten mentalen Möglichkeiten.
Was eine freudige Erfahrung das doch sein kann …

The first compilation of this year comes from extraordinary artists. They present their songs in our 'Amuse Bouche' compilation, whereby their tracks are much more than just a small appetiser. The compilation features Pulli & Chomba feat Lilith's Rib, Don Son & Ka:lu and Arteforma.

The first amuse bouche is 'Tides' by Pulli & Chomba who have entered into a cooperation with the trio Lilith's Rib. The track captivates with a bass that takes you away from the first second and the vocals of by Lilith's Rib.

The second amuse bouche comes from the Arteforma who contributes the track 'Alcor'. The track convinces with its melodies and its depth and takes you to another sphere.

The third Amuse Bouche is a cooperation between Don Son and Ka:lu, who produced 'Doors To Infinity' together.

This track immediately stands out with its driving beat and its ornate sounds. In addition, the female voice, which appears again and again, takes the track to another level.

This hybridset is a very emotional dive, I played variations of it during last summer. I got asked many times to upload a recording and I luckily managed to do it very last minute before the baby comes.
Experimenting with mantras I created using my mother tongue, Bavarian dialect, that has a very soft sound in comparison to standard German. 
I felt very rooted and connected to my rollercoaster emotions I had the last months - and to the little life growing inside of me. 

Thank you for all the support and the beautiful and intimate atmospheres we’ve created together, you made me feel very safe to perform and show myself vulnerable - I felt stronger than ever.

It’s hard to translate some of the “Mantras” - even to German- because it feels like the simple words mean way more than their translation can show - but I will give it a try.

Afterhours are great. you can spend time with your friends, talk and laugh, relax and enjoy some music. It's a collage of a sunday morning on a beautiful festival and you are still dancing with your sisters. the ones your parents gave you as the most wonderful gift - or the ones you chose by yourself. This set is not perfect, it's a dream of messy hear and dirty feed... and somebody asking you: "beer and cigarette?"

GLITTORIS#001 - SISTERS

The Marry in me. I had the wonderful opportunity to play this set at HarryKlein where I was surrounded by old friends and wonderful female artist. 
My heart skipped a beat a million times that night, I was so nervous before I started. All of us sometimes feel insecure and under pressure, f*ck it and dance the pain away! It's my catharsis, my way of meditation. I felt so happy seeing people feeling it too and enjoying the journey! it's always darkest before the dawn. (MarryKlein@HarryKlein28.03.19)

GLITTORIS#002 - MARRY

The moon - mysterious and beautiful. Astrologically seen as the symbol for femininity, receptifity, intuition and power - so as for transition and transience. The cycle of the moon goes often along with the feminine cycle and the moon's phases and power effect us and the environment we life in. Seeing the moon gives me strength and humility - and make my troubles seem so small.
This set I've made for a close friend is about transition and the presence of light even when all seems to be dark. It's an hypnotic and empowering journey embracing autumn mood but also pushing you forward.

Yesss.... PATAJANA aka Johanna sending loads of chilled and dreamy vibezz with a straight groove for mind, body and soul!
As cultural manager, musician and part of Taka Tuka Island and Taka Tunes (@taka_tuka), Johanna is always surrounded by music and she plays what she loves. Her sets are very different collages that express what’s on her mind, what tickles her soul: Classic(al) music and techno; Music to dream, to embrace the very moment, to rave, to hover. Sometimes the heart of a composition only really reveals when you pitch it down and enjoy its flow. For our podcast she chose a warm and comforting sound, an extra portion of love for the grey and rainy days.

The 4th and 5th episode of my GLITTORIS podcast (that is dedicated to different female* Alter Egos) show my reflections in quarantine and my very contrary feelings and ways to deal with it. 
"Apokalyptika" is my process of transforming fear and uncertainity into a wide awake and aware march into a hopefully better future; sometimes angry, sometimes confused.

As singer, conductor, cultural manager and booker, Patajana has always been surrounded by music and she plays what she loves: deep, melodic and progressive techno from hypnotic 100 to bouncy 130 bpm. Her sets are very diverse collages that express what’s on her mind, what tickles her soul: Classic(al) music and techno; Music to dream, to embrace the very moment, to rave, to hover. Based in Budapest, she played sets in clubs and festivals around Europe and is part of Taka Tuka Island, Taka Tunes, Sisterriot and WUT München. Besides that, she founded the allfemale electronic live act “Lilith’s Rib” together with singer/lyricist Antonia Vai and virtuoso flutist Fanni Zahár that has already caused a stir in the scene.
