Corporeal EP – AQAXA’s debut release on Punch Up Records – marshals deep beats, densely layered synthetic and acoustic sounds, and echoes of sonic memories fused into warm sheets of noise. The result is a space that is both introspective and euphoric.

AQAXA weaves audio messages and voice memos recorded over the years into an enveloping, warm, and pulsating kind of electronic music. The exploration of this personal archive is guided by machine learning algorithms, with which AQAXA performs, building new narratives from ephemeral digital remnants of its recent past.

Pat Carroll is a Eora / Sydney based alt-electronic artist and multi-instrumentalist that explores deep connectivity between artist and audience spanning cinematic and textural ambience through to more upbeat techno and alt-electronic leaning offerings 

His debut Album, ‘Is Yours, Is Mine’, revolves around a single simple melody. 

"This is something I’m really interested in in music – how parts and themes can be painted in different colours to give them new emotional qualities. What I wanted to do here was to have a melody that the record keeps finding its way back to, but have this melody altered, transformed and presented in different ways. At the start of the record, it is dark and haunting, and by the end it is more cathartic and open."

BAILE returns with a new batch of ambient works to soundtrack the chilling fall and winter months. The new EP builds upon the first, blending spacious ambience with droning synthesizers and foley sounds captured by Kackley (BAILE) over the past few months. From rain at the beach in the Chesapeake Bay to the overbearing trains passing on top of Broadway Ave in Brooklyn, these songs are layered with textures of life at its calmest and most chaotic.
