"I had a lot of fun with this mix. I basically looked at my records and picked out my favourite songs. Song that I would play at home in the mornings. Some contain a beautiful medley of vocals in a band, with added delay and reverb, that cause a feeling of reflection and nostalgia. Then at times the pace and the rhythm changes, so the dance changes to be upbeat and cause euphoria. I absolutely love how music can do this. It actually holds so much power and potential for healing, bringing people together, and just being content in your day-to-day life. Because, at the end of the day when you’re listening to music in your headphones in your way home on the bus or train, it has a personal effect on each and every one of us, some songs have deep meanings, some genres make you feel sad, some happy, some like you wanna two-step up to your front door! And I think that is very special."
