The Leeds based DJ, producer, and co-owner of label Basement Labs has been making big movements in the scene with recent releases ‘Nebula’ and ‘Fulminate’ out now, and a track featured on Partiboi 69’s Spotify playlist. Alex has plenty more music set to be out in the coming months so keep your eyes peeled 👀 

Silverback has put together a thunderous acid-electro remix of Dizzee Rascal and Fekky’s 2014 monster ‘Still Sittin’ Here’, not for the faint eared 👊

Based in the isolated Norfolk countryside, 17-year-old Waxtek began producing music during the first lockdown and has remotely carved his distinguished sound into the scene with his debut release on 40Grit Records, and several features on BBC Introducing East and Soho Radio. With deep rooted influences from UK dub and leftfield electronica, Waxtek’s music reflects this with a focused approach on complex drum programming and spaced-out sound design.

With a residency at Komrad.net and a guest mix on Balamii late last year, Waxtek has developed a particular taste for experimental and unique selections which provide an interesting listening experience whilst keeping the dancefloor moving.

His one-hour mix showcases all-time favourites from artists such as Overmono, Pearson Sound and Nikki Nair, as well as sneaking in forthcoming unreleased material planned for release later this year.
