Welcome Robine on EIN2 with her debut EP. "Lohec" is an epic melodic tune with a huge main progression. "Strong" has an interesting and complex arpeggiator throughout the track and opens up during the break into a strong groove. "Feelings" has an 80s style bassline with a positive vibe and a housy beat.

Label head honcho Fur Coat, presents his new ¨Time Traveler¨ EP. A very personal, profound and special piece created for Oddity.

The EP's title track ¨Ancient Stories¨ offers a melancholic and emotional atmosphere. Arpeggios and groove slowly build up, to unmask the beautiful chord progressions, with unique synth tones, which are the main element of the track, creating a beautiful summer closing anthem.

Continuing with the tracklist, ¨Time Ahead¨ shows a darker and deeper cut. A unique arp synth plays with the other quirky elements, that slowly build up, creating a nice energetic atmosphere.

¨Ephemera¨ is the grooviest cut on the EP. The dark tones, groove and synth make it very catchy. The detuned chord pads give a special touch to the track.

The closing track ¨Lost Days¨ evokes airs of early 2000's breaks, reshaped in a modern approach with a groovy bass, subtle vocals and beautiful synths coming into play together.

Frank Sonic returns to ICONYC with an absolute classy piece of music entitled 'Body & Soul'. The German producer who has been a mainstay in the electronic underground kicks' things off nicely with his original mix of Body & Soul. The melancholic moodiness shines through, as we meander effortlessly through club inspired melodies, while the sultry chords and vocal sit wonderfully on top adding an extra layer of depth. Frank's trademark beat manipulation is prevalent, as all manner of elements drift in and out of earshot. Perfect for beat loving club crowd and to get you in the mood for a big night out.

Stil & Bense, who have become part of the furniture at ICONYC, need no introduction. They created a rework full of tension from the word go, as the atmospheric vibe subtly keeps you moving with warm tinkling sounds, a smooth edge and some nicely effected sounding pieces. We basically have the formula for a bit of a monumental outing. The sparseness is the key here, as their restrained gem works its magic while it plays away, creating a warm glow, creating an air of sophistication. "Essential stuff!"

Next up we welcome Dimitris Pap for his debut on the label, the Greek maestro known for his polished sound, keeps the ethereal theme of the original alive, as the pulsating bass powers along, before its drum fills and general warmth all combine to do the talking. Like something from yesteryear, yet sounding fresh – His transcendent touch up takes the energy levels up a notch, but increases the melancholy with stripped back and lucid elements at the same time, before the luscious pads grace the rework changing the vibe and creating a blanket of warmth that wraps around the effected groove.

Last but not least we have a remix courtesy of William Medagli & Thallulah, who return to ICONY after their successful 'Arizona' release back in February. The duo delivers a trademark deep indie dance mix with infectious chords, intense drums and smooth breakdown. It's all about the groove, cool melodic vibes and the driving beats that are working their magic around Medagli & Thallulah 's wonderfully arranged keys that create an irresistible rhythm while clever chords take the mind on a trip. 

With 'Body & Soul' Frank Soinc really shows that there're no boundaries, as this beautiful melodic gem guides you to a full-on club laden, melodic hug of a release that will cause many smile induced moments! 'Body & Soul' sees a worldwide release on June 25th, 2021 via every well-known digital content provider. Not to be missed.

Frank Sonic - Body & Soul  (Stil & Bense Remix) | ICONYC NYC014X

The 29th release of Infinite Depth is called ‘Origine EP’ by bastinov (@bastinov) and it’s a massive one. There are five diverse originals by the Italian, who returns on the label after a remix in 2019 and an original on ‘The Second Milestone’. To bring this EP to another level there are two impressive artists contributing to the EP with a remix. First, it’s an honor to announce the Italian Paride Saraceni (@paride_saraceni) debuts on the label with a remix of the title track and another remix is done by great producer and the label’s friend VNTM (@vntmofficial).

The EP starts off with ‘Azimuth’. A gloomy and very minimal track with crispy atmospheric layers, which bring you into a hypnotic trance. 

This hypnotic trance got set through in VNTM’s remix. In the remix he perfectly managed to maintain the vibe of the original, while turning the it into a firm and dark techno track. Something you don’t hear that much these days. 

The EP continuous with ‘Several Minds’. This is a very conceptual track with an unusual sounding main lead. Beneath this lead sometimes a heavy and low saw gets through. This combination is a perfect example of what makes bastinov special. 

This authenticity is also shown in the sound design of the title track ‘Origine’. A sensitive synth is telling you a story, which got strengthened by a tight groove and dreamy pads. This makes it an emotionally charged track and a real highlight.

In his remix Paride Saraceni took this main lead and surrounded it by a more driving lower part. Besides, he brought another uplifting dimension to the pads. This all comes together in a rock-solid mix. One for the clubs, as well as the big stages.  

The sixth track is called ‘No Regrets’. It has an aggressive, but still sophisticated and slightly soft, character. The melodic part of the track is very mysterious. This combined with the growling lower part makes the track perfect for a warehouse environment.  

The energetic final track of the EP,called ‘Attitudine Mentale’, is the perfect breakbeat closing track of this pack. The synths are conserving the dark vibe, around which a pretty harsh breakbeat and a magnifying one shot vocal are very well constructed. Leaving you in full ecstasy.

bastinov - Azimuth (VNTM Remix)

Kiman returns to Somatic with a stunning 5 track EP full of melodic soundscapes, experimenting by unifying different genres throughout to round of this spectacular release.

Those following the label closely will have heard 'Confidence' receive its world premiere on BBC Radio 1 in August & since then we have been inundated with messages awaiting its release.
