4CM013 - foundations vol 1 - The foundations series is a new concept from Four corners bossman Melinki. The various artist series will be all about bringing brand new names to the label and giving them a chance to build the foundations for future solo projects. 
Searching out new talent and helping to guide and nurture that talent is something four corners takes pride in and we want to dedicate a series of eps to do just that. 
So here we have it , four fresh cuts from four brand new names. True to the four corners ethos there’s something for everyone in here ! 
Going straight in with Raybee’s navigate , a technical percussive rollout , aimed straight at the dance floor. An impressive debut from Raybee. 
Onto mood swings by system and wise. A track that does exactly what it says on the tin. Easing you into a false sense of security on the intro with a dreamy atmosphere and pads only to surprise you with a disgusting baseline when it drops. A great crossover track! 
Up next we have d’cypher with ride the wave,  a track full of funk and character that will go down great in a studio mix but also cause damage on the dance floor. This only being d’cyphers second ever release proves he is one to watch. 
Lastly but not by any means least we have some liquid gold from Avalon rays with his track brighten up. Not only did Avalon rays play and produce the track he also sang the vocal. Brighten up rounds off the release nicely and does just that. This one will go down perfectly with a cold beer in the summer sun.

Since signing with V Recordings in 2015, the São Paulo due Alibi have continued to delivered time and time again. The duos highly anticipated debut album ’Said & Done’ released at the tail end of 2018 which was their most complete statement of their musical vision to date, gaining support from the drum and bass scene giants. Alibi then went on to guest on BBC Radio 1, and stood at the forefront of the ’25 Years Of V Recordings’ tour, solidifying themselves as one of the labels top names.

Their first release after the album comes in the form of the ’Catalyst EP’, a four track release which shows Alibi experimenting with their harder, more dance-floor focused side, with ‘Sorrow’ as an additional nod to ‘Said & Done’. This EP will sure be the driving force of their summer sets, where they’ll be playing at a number of prestigious club nights and festivals such as the ‘Future’ album launch and Glastonbury.

The project that we are announcing with this post is probably the biggest and most comprehensive release we have had so far. About two years ago we started the release series "Yo Bro" together with some of our closest artists. After countless positive feedbacks and requests for participation in this project, we decided a year ago to turn the third "Yo Bro" release into our first Various Artists LP. After a year of planning and work, this centrepiece is finally complete. The compilation features artists from eight different countries and three different continents. It was important for us to create an interesting musical and human balance for this release. The "Yo Bro - LP" stands for the diversity of the dark, deep and rolling side of contemporary Drum & Bass.

For the ‘Wormatic Remixes EP’ Dabs has hand-picked 5 of his favourite Dispatch artists, and personal friends to remix some of the biggest tunes from his debut album.
