Where to start with this one? Well, you'd need to go to the 'Holy Lands' in Belfast around 1998, to the area behind Queens University. Specifically Fitzroy Avenue, the place that has inspired this firing new mix.

The Rare Lowry and That Boy Tim are extremely old friends and family of Going Good and are 2 of Northern Ireland's long standing producers, selectors and true music nuts. This mix is a snapshot of their flat on Fitzroy Avenue, and the music that was played there. This flat was regular haunt of a young Brian Not Brian, who went there and soaked up the endless killer music and clouds of soapbar that filled the air, thus getting educated in the process. This is the soundtrack to those sessions, lovingly selected, mixed and shared by these 2 local legends.

A blazing mix of deep house and Detroit techno and electro classics, b-sides and proper digs  - 'Fitzroy Selections' will take you back, or give you a glimpse into what was happening in peoples dwellings 'back in the day' each weekend, without the hackneyed nostalgia! Mixed with the vibe and feeling of a crate of records and 2 turntables - no frills, no special FX! A proper treat for sure...

This months show will showcase a 2 hour tribute to one of Fnoobs past residents DJ 313 aka Bruno Diego Monicar, who has sadly passed away recently. 
DJ 313 hosted his own show here on fnoob  "Tek A Little More"   where he would mix purist Detroit flavoured techno. He was never afraid to break the mould experimenting with his free style mixes. Bruno was also involved with fnoobs collective FUTURIST events, and was loved by everyone who had the pleasure of meeting or spinning with him. To which we will never forget. Gunna miss you Degz Travel Well my good friend.

Special guest DJ DaveSkinner delivered a blistering mix for episode 88 of Technoir on Outer Rim Radio.
From Hard Corps to Hardcore, over 2 hours Dave takes us on a sonic journey taking in classic cuts of early industrial and electronica, acid and hard techno. As well as showcasing his own productions.

A fellow music lover with a passion for underground electronic music. David grew up in London during the late 70s and early 80s listening to punk, Industrial, electro and hip hop. And started collecting records during the mid 80s. He was 1st introduced to mixing records through a friend from way back in the early days of the acid house scene. Learned his craft quickly and started giving out his mix tapes, to which he was fortunate to play alot of private parties in the clubs of the westend of London. With his harder edge of djying, David would be invited to play some of the squat parties in London during the mid 90s. Promotions like the Vox Popular Parties and Bedlam parties alike. His musical style would range from progressive / leftfield to Chicago stlye acid house, teasing the crowd by splicing techno into his sets to work the crowd. David has hosted his own shows on global internet radio stations such as

Playing a mix of US, European and UK techno and electro since way back in the 90's, London-based Pat Hurley got his first gigs with People 4 People sound system and gone on to play for Unsound, Shtonka, Hardware, The Satellite club, Insanity, Defcom 1, Pendulum, Parallel Youniversity, Megatripolis, Analogue City, Absolute, Redeye, E1 sound, One Louder, Uber, Mindscapes, Techno in the City, Fabric, KSS, Family Groove, Butterfly Effect, Electronic 17, Resonate, Futurist and Cargo, as well as co-promoting events such as Solution, Beyond and pistonTec.

He’s also played all around the UK including the Glastonbury festival and abroad in France, Holland, Italy, Spain and Japan. 

He runs the Open Source record label, on which he releases his own productions as well as tracks from artists such as Orlando Voorn, Mike Humphries, Jeff Amadeus and many others
