Singer/songwriters throw old pieces of music away all the time. And that's exactly what I did with this song after I wrote it when I was fifteen. About ten years later, I played around with the arrangement, brought it to my awesomely talented band, and it blossomed. I decided not to change the lyrics for the sake of nostalgia. The song sort of grew along with me.
