I wrote this song after some trauma came to light involving my daughter and a close friend.  It is a reminder that no matter how difficult, we aren't alone and we are cared for.

02 - Faithful

This song has a light fun sound considering the heavy subject matter.  This song is about broken friendships and the opportunity we have to fix them and have them, fix us.

03 - Healing The Broken

I wrote this song after I had come out of a long and deep season of depression.  It is about finding hope outside of ourselves and trusting in God

07 - Lead Me On

I wrote this song in reflection of being a mom and realizing that these kids will eventually be adults; not living in my house but in a home of their own.  It's a prayer that they will be wise and stay close in relationship to eachother

04 - These Moments

I made this "album" for a short project idea that started with some questions.  As a kid, what type of hymn would I have loved??  What would I have loved to sing along with?  What would this mean to me?  Because the things I create and put heart into have to have some kind of intention, I took these ideas and ran with it.  I picked the top 5 hymns that have had an impact on my life, set one verse and one chorus of each one to atmospheric backing tracks, recorded, produced, mixed and mastered, and now here they are!  One thing I love about these is that they are intentionally sparse, so they make me think of just the words and what they mean.  The other thing I love about them is that they are so open, you could harmonize with them FOREVER. I mean, the layering potential is crazy.  Hope you love them as much as I do!  Have some fun with them!

Flesh and Bones

So, this is my first demo on Soundcloud!  It is NOT finished BUT it's a good start and a good map for the final.  The rhythms aren't tight and I didn't get a chance to yet add bup vox but it's a good idea.
