We couldn't pass the beauty of 'Heart Signs' track by dOP we released recently on vinyl and digital, so that's how we had the idea to implement more versions into this dramatic composition.
Israel producer Chaim, the artist of such notable labels as Bpitch, Rumors, Visionquest, as well as his recently launched Blue Shadow imprint, has always been known (for us and the world) for his signature sound at a rich and varied range in full.His remix of 'Heart Signs' is a great interpretation of the original; with great repetitive sharp synthesizers leads, crunchy percussions and mystic delayed Jaw's vocals it gives a feeling of the abrupt and unexpected approach to it's sound.
Needless to write a lot about Tiefschwarz, as it's pretty much known for guys brilliant music. With more than two decades of the duo career, releasing multiple records with Watergate Records, Get Physical, Compost, Dessous, Cocoon, Bedrock, Mobilee, as well successfully A&Ring their influential Souvenir label, Ali & Basti have followed their own path of musical brilliance. Their remix of 'Heart Signs' is accentuating the thoughtful mood of the original, taking the main elements of the track: vocals and the piano touches, wrapping them into dark techno shell.
Two different mixes have said it enough about the track, so we hope you'll be as much happy, as we are with this release.

For the label’s 27th release focus shifts to Australia, showcasing the creative vision of Melbourne’s emotive master Gavin Griffin aka GMJ, stopping off in Sri Lanka to enlist Danidu & Hasith on remix duty.

GMJ’s boundless passion for deep emotive electronic music has ensured his relentless rise up the ladder of global recognition.  It’s been a busy start to the year for GMJ, with solo releases on Balkan Connection, Vapour, Esta Caliente and Visceral, along with an ever-growing catalogue of collaborative projects with Matter (check their new, hotly tipped Meanwhile label).  A truly exceptional creator, GMJ’s previous onedotsixtwo appearances – ‘Efficacy’ (ODST001) and his remix of Griffin Paisley’s ‘Peak Flow’ (ODST008) – firmly tagged him as long-term family member, so this highly anticipated and overdue return was always going to be a highpoint. 

GMJ’s renowned deep rhythms and special textures are in full flow here.  The low-slung, slithering bassline groove, melded with eastern-influenced hooks and soaring heavenly atmospheres combine magically, to create the deliciously drifting euphoric experience that is ‘Periphery’.  Danidu & Hasith continue to stretch tame creative boundaries with their deeply powerful remix, as they weave an inspired magical spell by way of intricate harmonics, infused with their trademark majestic magnificence.

These two intensely passionate and supremely talented DJ/Producers are rising up out of the Sri Lankan electronic underground, both individually and together.  Danidu & Hasith’s combined unique vision, driven to deliver pure quality with essential attention to minute detail, saw this duo burst into the wider progressive collective consciousness through 2019. Connecting their creative minds in the studio resulted in head-turning remixes for Rick Pier O’Neil (twice), Nishan Lee and Ricardo Piedra. Having continued to raise the creative bar ever higher with his recent A Million Souls (BEDDIGI146) collaboration with the amazingly talented Francesca Lombardo, that was supplemented with an equally amazing downtempo Dub version highlight on John Digweeds recent Quattro (BEDQUATCD) mix compilation, Hannes Bieger knew his next Bedrock EP had to continue to push his inspiration even further and he has delivered magnificently.

His previous collaboration with Juan Hansen, the stunning Stars (BEDDIGI129) and its huge reception, meant that it was inevitable that their highly creative paths would cross again. A supremely talented composer/musician/vocalist, Juan is rapidly becoming legendary in the clubs of Argentina, guided by an exemplary ethos of mixing genres. His gentle voice is the perfect juxtaposition to Hannes drama-tinged composition.

Whereas the recent, critically acclaimed, Pele (Awesome Soundwave) album gave Hannes the freedom to explore more loose, raw and trippy, sometimes ambient musical concepts, the inherent discipline necessary to create the supremely focused club tracks for this new EP was a welcome and enjoyable change and it shows.

The essential genius of lead track Burn Your Love lies in the juxtaposition of Juan Hansens heart-melting, mellow, 60s West Coast vibed vocal performance with the music composition Hannes trademark layers of dramatic, hypnotic analogue synth magic, bedded on a perfectly dynamic, hip-swinging groove.

For the less vocally inclined, Ashes continues the instrumental production masterclass, pushing boundaries, as Hannes continues to explore his vision of the Bedrock sound, creating his distinctive brand of expertly designed melodic Techno, based around his classic kit: Minimoog, Moog Modular and Roland TB-303. It is, quite simply, a perfect finale to a most exceptional EP.
