"One of the highlights of Krak In Dub‘s 2021 album, Catleya (Bogota Sessions), now has a music video. “Recógela”, a track featuring Colombia’s vocal trio La Perla and Bermudan singer Troy Berkley, has got even more continental with a video filmed in Bolivia showing the communities of coca leaf pickers and their participation in recent protests.

The video was made by Bolivian photographer and director Eduardo Inclan, who filmed in the Coscoma community of Los Yungas, as well as La Paz and the Tiwanaku archaeological site, with the aim of showing the harsh conditions for many campesinos in Latin America, their role in recent protests, as well as the ancestral importance of coca leaf for Bolivia’s indigenas." - Read more at Sounds and Colours 👉 https://bit.ly/RecogelaSandC

The collaboration of Austrian Producer/DJ Megablast and Cuban Singer/Percussionist Eribertho Cruz started back in 2019 releasing the summer hit „Vamos“, including the stunning remix by Pulsinger & Irl (among others), which is played around the world by headliners such as Solomun, Dixon, Seth Troxler, Adam Port and Butch to name a few. Their second production „La Isla“ features Flip Philipp of the famous Vienna Symphony Orchestra playing the marimba. Additional remixes by Landikhan, Nickodemus, PAAX (Tulum), Pulsinger & Irl and Sasson (FR).

In the 2nd hour of this week's program, our very special guest is New Zealand-born, Berlin-based keyboardist ARON OTTIGNON. His latest project is a collaboration with Senegalese musos from West Africa, working under the name of Aron & the Jeri Jeri Band, and their just released debut album is titled 'Dama Bëgga Nibi (I Want To Go Home)'.
(Pictured: New Zealand keyboardist-producer ARON OTTIGNON, who used to be based in Australia, but now lives in Berlin Germany. His current project and latest album with Senegalese group The Jeri Jeri Band is called 'Dama Bëgga Nibi (I Want To Go Home)'.

Tribal Steps is inspired by conscious gatherings, ecstatic dance and community circles. The whispers of our ancestors invite us to walk in the path of their footsteps, to activate the archaic awareness of animate nature of reality and to cherish all the forms of life. This compilation is a powerful tool for integrating those impulses into our conscious mind through the power of organic music.

It is compiled in the ecstatic dance form , inviting on a journey through various styles and rhythms in order to invoke the power of active meditation inducing an ecstatic feeling of connection with all there is.Praising of organic and sacred sound is holding all tracks together. From meditative to uplifting, from mystical to euphoric, this compilation will activate the ancient spirit in you.

***All the donations will go for building an open space hall in Croatian village, surrounded by nature and permaculture garden, where different activities will be held, like music sessions, ecstatic dance, fire gatherings, workshops, education for children and retreats. All the artists from compilation will be invited to play there once when it's built. Deepest gratitude for their amazing music and opened hearts.***
