A Cello Duet Composition. 

Quite a lot of thought went to this piece to represent the story of the two lovers. 

Each existing simultaneously played notes are single individual.
Range of the piece displays relationship. 
Dynamic represents the situation. 

Story: 
*Note: Bridge can only be used by the noble.

There was a once a couple who fell in love on their first sight in a festive city where it was so crowded of people. The two met from their own desires to escape the crowded places and find some relief. The Man stood under bridge looking at the moon, only to find a woman with long beautiful hair shun by the moonlight at the edge of the bridge. The lady too, saw the man and they both fell in love at that moment. The man was poor and the woman was from a noble family. Although they knew that love was not possible between them, each tried their best to create a relationship between them. They would only see each other during the night, the man under the bridge and the lady on the edge of the bridge. After years of hard work, they finally got to have a chance to talk. The moment they met, the man told, "A lake nearby. Where the moonlight shines and flowers rise, I'll shall see you there in the night's youth." 

The two met each other in the nearby the lake, and to the milady's surprise, it was a place where no one was able to see through. Years have passed as they loved each other from the heavens and earths, and they have promised each other to never marry anyone aside from each other.

However, in one dark night, they were discovered by the lady's noble family and the man was sent to torture for his sin against society. 

The man was released after two years and worked his way for a decade to make himself a nobleman, just for the woman he loved. 

Several years past, the man in his late thirties walked around the festive city remembering the one he loved. Just as he was crossing a bridge, he saw her beautiful shining hair down the river, just like the time they've first met. To his joy, he wanted to surprise her, so he walked slowly towards her, only to find a man behind her. A husband of hers.  

The gentleman, who lived his life to finally meet the one he loved so much as a noble, left the bridge, never to return again.
