PÆNIC ROOM #13

My friend and DJ-colleague Sender came up with the idea to play one and the same set on two different systems to figure out, if you can hear a difference in point of view from the flow perspective.
So he played it on Vinyl and I played it on a digital Pioneer System. 
Out of the reason our styles of music differentiated a bit we agreed on a classic house set.

I guess this is anyways only interesting for Djs. But maybe also somebody else who has no idea of the matter of djing develops an interest herefore. So I explain a bit what it is about.

So not only, that we could see how the same set can get addressed in two different ways, of course there even exist some other factors which play a role in such a case. I, on the digital system, of course entered and exited all the tracks with hot-cues, which I set before in my software, which makes the mix just hilarious perfect out of a flow perspective. He on the Vinyl System, is not able to do that and he needs to mix in and out completely by feel. Also nothing like a Master Tempo exists in a Vinyl System which keeps the track in the original pitch when it gets played faster or slower like in the original BPM —> Chipmunk voice.

So this is the mix on the digital system from myself ....Enjoy the mixes! ....and of course ....make sure to listen with maximum Volume ;)

The meanwhile in Austria based Artist PÆNIC, which has gained his sound to some part out of the madrileñian techno driven underground but to whom the free state of mind also never loses its importance, which is the reason why he resorts to some melodic elements too which help him to maintain that.

After getting familiar with the essentials of the music industry and starting some serious producing during his time in Madrid, in 2023 he released his debut track Madrid 5AM, in which he sums up his preferences of soundscapes in the world of electronic music and with which he also starts the path of giving the name PÆNIC the corresponding sound.
