When i saw Prodigy the first time in 2008 i was amazed by the power of this performance which was mainly caused by keith of course, but also by the live playing of the drummer and the guitar player. 🤩

So I came up with the idea to ask my friend Leo who is a talented front singer and guiter player of two bands, if he wants to play his electric guitar while i am djing: He said yes and so we did! 🔥

It was my first time playing at Haus Mainusch in Mainz and the first time ever Leo was playing live guitar to drum and bass and we gotta say we are addicted 😁 The crowd was amazed and people came to us saying they were looking forward to our next gig. So do we ❤️

I recorded the live mix including the cheering crowd and the live guitar, which is starting at 17:34 🔥🎸💃

Es ist Donnerstag, der kleine Freitag. Und es ist Zeit für einen "Tapetenwechsel". Wer in Mainz mal so richtig losgelöst zu exklusiv selektiertem Drum'n'Bass durchstarten will (oder temporary wollte, damn you virus), der kommt um die legendären gleichnamigen Events im Kulturclub 'schonschön' nicht herum. Flatty lädt gefühlt seit der Wende dort ein, seinen gut motorisierten Tracks mit rhythmischen Sportübungen eine fleischgewordene Untermalung zu bieten und man kann sagen: der Laden brennt, jedes Mal! Obwohl er sonst kaum Sets aufnimmt hat er sich mit Freude die Zeit genommen, uns ein kleines Tape zu schneidern. Hört rein! Aber Achtung! Beim Hören der folgenden Musik kann es zu schmerzhaften Bedürfnissen nach Gruppendynamik kommen. Es tut uns im Vorfeld Leid wenn wir dadurch auf euch leicht sadistisch wirken. Danke Flatty für dieses Set und euch weiterhin viel Kraft und Optimismus, wir schaffen das!

It's Thursday, the small Friday. And it's time for a change of scenery. Anyone in Mainz who wants to get away from it all to exclusively selected drum'n'bass (or wanted to, damn you virus!) can't avoid the legendary events named, quite appropriatel, "A Change of Scenery" at the Kulturclub 'schonschön'. Flatty has been inviting people there since the fall of communism to give his well-motorised tracks a rhythmic sporting exercise in the flesh, and it's safe to say: the place is on fire, every time! Although he hardly ever records sets , he has happily taken the time to tailor a little tape for us. Listen to it! But beware! Listening to the following music may lead to painful needs for group dynamics. We are sorry in advance if this makes us seem slightly sadistic to you. Thank you Flatty for this set and keep up the strength and optimism, we can do it!
