As you will probably be able to tell from our pretty extensive catalogue of remixes, we truly believe here at Four40 that remix projects are an essential part of breathing new life into our previously released music. With this latest selection, we are thrilled to be giving George IV’s ‘Gettin Your Love’ a fantastic selection of overhauls, with the original receiving some serious attention across the globe! 

This particular selection comes made up of three spicy recreations, kicking off with the magnificent sounds of Kells. We’ve heard some fantastic original creations from Kells in recent times, but this brand new remix could well be our favourite of the bunch as he gives George’s original an old school lick of paint, driving the track forward with bubbling chord progressions and tasty vocal slices. Next, Tee Vish brings something very different to the table with a much more stripped back version of the original, focussing on gnarly sub-bass pulses and crunchy drum processing to inject an almost breakbeat feel to the composition with fantastic results. 

Finally, The ever reliable Royal Flush make their Four40 return with another lively creation as they send George’s original to the UKG shredder, emerging with a glittering overhaul, jam-packed with groovy bass melodies and shimmering vocal slices to match, topped with a couple cheeky string samples for good measure. 

As far as remix projects go, we couldn’t be happier with everyone's efforts and we can’t wait to hear this top quality selection of reworks gracing soundsystems across the country!
