Patrick Snowden is a German-Canadian songwriter and guitarist.

At the age of 10 he started playing drums and writing songs, at that time he took drum lessons with Lars Ahrens and Matthias Schmidt in Münster.
Two years later he started to play guitar, first self-taught, later he took further lessons with Phillipp Heinrich aka. Phil Wood and with Levin Ripkens.

At about 15 he played and sang in his first own band "Open 'till 4", which performed regularly in the local scene in Münster.

At high school he participated as a drummer in the musical "Momo" furthermore he started taking vocal lessons in school and for 6 months also at the Music Academy in Münster

After graduating from high school and spending some time abroad, he founded the band project
"Monkey Gone Wild", with which he also played original pieces and performed live.

From 2016-2017 he studied musicology and French in Münster.

From 2018-2020 he trained as a state-certified professional musician and qualified music educator, majoring in electric guitar at Music College Hannover.
During this time, he played concerts regularly, including with Frederik Bulthaup and Anna Kriendlhofer.

Furthermore, he performed as a street musician and participated in several recording projects.
Towards the end of his education, he founded the project "Fellwok", which released two studio recordings.

Since 2019, the musician has been giving private guitar lessons, and since 2020 he has also been working as a teacher at a music school in Hanover.

Also in 2020, he resumed the study of musicology in Hildesheim.




Patrick Snowden ist Deutsch-Kanadischer Songwriter und Gitarrist.
Im Alter von 10 Jahren fing er an Schlagzeug zu spielen und Songs zu schreiben, zu dieser Zeit nahm er Schlagzeugunterricht bei Lars Ahrens und Matthias Schmidt in Münster.
Zwei Jahre später fing er an Gitarre zu spielen, zuerst autodidakt, später nahm er weiter Unterricht bei Phillipp Heinrich aka. Phil Wood und bei Levin Ripkens.
Mit ca. 15 spielte und sang er in der ersten eigenen Band „Open 'till 4“, welche in der lokalen Szene in Münster regelmäßig auftrat.
Am Gymnasium wirkte er als Schlagzeuger beim Musical „Momo“ mit und nahm weiterhin am Vokalpraktischen Grundkurs teil.
Ein halbes Jahr lang nahm der Musiker Gesangsunterricht an der Music Academy in Münster.
Nach dem Abitur und einiger Zeit im Ausland gründete er das Bandprojekt
„Monkey Gone Wild“, mit dem er ebenfalls eigene Stücke spielte und live auftrat.
Von 2016-2017 studierte er Musikwissenschaft und Französisch in Münster.
Von 2018-2020 absolvierte er eine Ausbildung zum staatlich geprüften Berufsmusiker und qualifizierten Musikpädagogen mit dem Hauptfach E-Gitarre am Music College Hannover.
Zu dieser Zeit spielte er regelmäßig Konzerte, unter anderem mit Frederik Bulthaup und Anna Kriendlhofer.
Weiterhin trat er als Straßenmusiker auf und wirkte bei mehreren Aufnahmeprojekten mit.
Gegen Ende der Ausbildung gründete er das Projekt „Fellwok“, welches zwei Studioaufnahmen veröffentlichte.
Seit 2019 gibt der Musiker privaten Gitarrenunterricht, seit 2020 ist er außerdem als Lehrkraft an einer hannoverschen Musikschule tätig.
Ebenfalls 2020 griff er das Musikwissenschaftsstudium in Hildesheim wieder auf.
