Start your summer in smooth style with electronic rumors' latest release; this one comes from Nu-Disco renaissance man Ali Jamieson. The London based musician has teamed up with soul singer Raff to offer up one of this year's most buoyant slices of synth driven Funk.

Riding the wave of a rubbery bassline, Coffee Stain  serves up a symphony of complex percussion, starlight melodies and densely layered retro sounds; all tied together with an unrelenting vintage dancefloor groove. Add to this Raff's bittersweet vocal delivery and you have a track to just sink into and ride the rhythm.

Coffee Stain is given a twist for every crate by Black Magic Disco, Ben Macklin and Tommy '86. BMD breaks out in full Chicago House style for his gloriously early-90s taken on the track; Macklin blends his Tropical House style with an early-90s R&B flavour on his slinky reMix and Tommy '86 lives up to his name with a pounding retro Italo-Disco epic.

Infectious as hell, Coffee Stain will be stuck in your head all day.

Swedish born and Paris based Yota needs no further introduction, world-famous for her beautiful voice and works with the who is who of the nu disco and house scene. French master of the cool beat ‚Douze’ is another making his debut on Media Blackout with his incredible rendition of „I Am Not Afraid“. Douze's affair with sound "through heart, hands and computer tools" has led to a raft of successful releases and remixes, and this is no exception. Part deep house, part driving disco, his „Gonna Hide Dub“ mix of ‘I Am Not Afraid’ is a ode to house music that creates a mood that’s perfect for any dance-floor.

The second remix comes from none other than London based sound maestro Le Flex, who to people in the known is a true master oft he craft. He drops a stunning remix of ‘I Am Not Afraid; a modern beach house jam with all the right elements. The bouncy bass and great synth arrangements create a sexy, provocative atmosphere while Yota's voice make words settle in truly magical fashion, creating a warm felt atmosphere that creates special memories every time you listen to it.

English wunderkind LeSonic, famed for his body moving beats and immense production skills, as well as work with Dirty Vegas, Vanilla Ace and Matvey Emerson delivers a remix that dives into more upbeat territory with lots of euphoric vibes. In both songs I wanted to try to emulate elements of some early house records I love. Specifically, the simple yet elaborate chords riffs, which are what I’ve always been most drawn to. The other element I wanted was a chopped vocal sample. I couldn’t find any that worked, so I made some myself (thanks Jamie & Vanessa!). I’m hoping the end result are two musical, danceable, positive tracks! If life is a book, page one is LOVE.
