By far, my favorite experience at Burning Man this year was DJing atop Garage Mahal's Ganesh Bus - in the midst of a raging dust storm - on a magical mystical art tour in celebration of my dear friend Janet Love's 50th birthday. It was just insane out - a bus full of stoked Mahalers and random burners appearing out of the dust to climb aboard; so much wind and dust that I literally couldn't tell if we were moving or not; CDJs so near the end of their rope that it's a miracle they went the distance; fantastic art appearing and disappearing in the most surreal of fashions; and a bunch of deep, warm, happy and all around awesome house music. Truly the stuff magic is made of. The actual set was not recorded, but this redux version definitely captures the feeling and is the better, quality wise, for having not been recorded under those insanely wonderful conditions. My deepest love and thanks to everyone that built the bus and rode it that day. Dedicated with love to you, to Janet Love for your birthday and to my love, Flo, for the best Burn ever, baby. Love you all, tons.

As the head-honcho of Return to Rio, Ricky is responsible for creating all the magic and mayhem that has made this annual shindig quite unlike anything other, in the land down under. Billed as the 'ultimate weekend away' and now in it's 5th year, this dance music extravaganza counts the likes of Dixon and Carl Cox as its biggest fans following marathon sets at the event. Born and bred in the UK, Cooper has an international reputation from his stints behind the decks worldwide. Having launched the exclusive Homegrown parties throughout the UK and Europe, Ricky became a familiar face on the wheels of steel at London’s End nightclub & The Cross, among others. In Portugal, Ricky Cooper A.K.A DJ Tricky was resident at Club de Baia where people would travel from afar to attend such extraordinary nights. In addition to this, he annually graced the decks for the World Snowboarding Championships, Hit the Gap, in Italy and counts A-listers Kate Moss and Jade Jagger as fans, once flying him to L.A. to play for one of their exclusive parties.  

Another career highlight from his DJing escapades stateside is a set at Burning Man where he put on one heck of a party with Lee Burridge, Lee Foss and Soul Clap. 

Closer to home, Ricky Cooper dominated Australia’s most infamous super club, Home, in its prime, for six years, his deep house journeys becoming the stuff of legend. Today, he's a regular on the scene, performing across Australia for Circo Loco, S*A*S*H, Subsonic and more. 
On the airwaves, you can catch him on Bondi Radio every Friday night from 5pm AEST, broadcast live from the world's most famous beach.

About Andy Ef

Originally from Cairo, Egypt. Andy Ef has been a regular on the Sydney scene for a couple of years now, with appearances at Electric Gardens, Return To Rio, Blueprint, S.A.S.H, We Love, Night Groove and more he's fast becoming a Sydney favourite for his dreamy progressive driving track choices and skill at mixing them together seamlessly as if there was no start or end to a track.

No stranger to the electronic music scene, signing his first release at 18 years old to “Acute Recordings, US” in 2006 and subsequently winning a remix competition which was hosted by “Bellarine Recordings, AU” in 2007. His style is characterised by a warm, driven, deep and atmospheric sound.

It's been a busy summer so far, and it's taken me a little longer than I'd like to post this, but I promise, it's worth the wait.  A definite musical highlight for me this summer has been to play the @anjunadeep Stage at Spring Awakening Music Festival a couple weekends ago, and sharing the stage with some superb colleagues of mine in my music spectrum:  @jodywisternoff , @yotto , @moonbootsmusic , @lane8music , and special guests - @rufussounds !  Also joined by the upstanding Chicago based artists - @karstensollors and @intermodalmusic -- was a pleasure to get things started on this stage on a warm, music-filled summer day in the Windy City.

Lots of great feedback on what I played this day, and happy to share it with you now.  This is a set chock full of current favorite tunes of mine, a couple forthcoming releases from @vestedchi // Vested Recordings, and some lovely stuff all around to get this stage off to a great start.

2013 saw the creation of Dusk Till Done, an underground events company, which hosted numerous forward thinking artists in the Boston area at clubs and other locations.
