We present you a 23 track various artist compilation record from producers and artists who regularly curate party nights or support the bar. This first instalment is a fundraiser to help the bar make it through this COVID 19 pandemic and the beginning of the DBD label.

This record is very personal to us and so was the selection of invited artists. We would like to thank them for their overwhelming contribution and engagement in our new project.

Today we premiere a track by the upcoming release on Barcelona's label HEX. "XXX001 | Lockdown Era" has been conceived and created by the two Italian artists,  during the first lockdown in March 2020 and it represents the struggle of being confined, which is against our human rights and freedom. The remixes chosen for this important launch are by Boston 168, Fractions and Felicie, which took care of the second vinyl of this strong double EP release. 'Lockdown Era' is a track surrounded by a distorted, but also melancholic and noir atmosphere, highlighted by the cinematographic piano notes. Based on old school 90's drums, with panned electric percussions and a solid kick. This is an electrifying but at the same time smooth journey, that triggers suppressed sensations. An invigorating and highly emotive trip.

We are in the presence of an EP composed by four original tracks and two remixes. The Cuban artist brings us an industrial concept with very elegant touches while exploring new horizons. Mystical voices and intricate rhythms is what we can listen in this release. Delicate sound processing and careful attention to details are also defining traits of these tracks and make them essential tools for any set. Masterful remixes by French artist Crystal Geometry and Canadian duo Orphx complement this package.

For this reference we introduce Jehra, an upcoming talent from Turkey. He delivers a very interesting set of tracks influenced by industrial and mental sounds with a pinch of Trance and a Hard Techno attitude. "Corrupt Society", the track that opens and give name to the release, it's an atmospheric cut with a very detail-focused production. As second track we found "Chaosdürüm" a dancefloor-ready and muscular tool. Third and fourth are "Deathwish" and "W Paradise", two rave bangers filled with encrypted social criticism and designed to smash any venue. To close this release and make things even more interesting we have two remixes by Verschwender from Germany and our very own Hioll.

The Brvtalist is pleased to present a new track from Roll Dann. “Break The Dance” comes off the Madrid-based artist’s new EP, Oppression Dance,  which features 4 tracks of the artists floor facing techno sound. After releasing on labels like Pole Group, Soma and Modularz, the artist begins a new chapter with his own label Opera 2000 where he focuses on aggressive yet emotive style. Today we host one of our favorites on the EP, “Break The Dance” which punishes with its brutal drums and powerful synth lines.

This is also the first vinyl EP on the beloved label and the artist has used the pandemic standstill to reflect on his artistic vision and now he drops this massive EP (which also includes a remix from Peryl), which blew us away on first listen.
