Patrick Porter is a multidisciplinary artist working in performance, visual arts, poetry, and electronic music. Patrick is also an educator in various genres of live and filmed performance and is passionate about the training of our next generations of storytellers and embodied art makers. Born and reared in Shreveport, La., he has lived in NYC for the last 30+ years. He is fascinated by the beauty surrounding him, especially that emanating from the quotidian, the ignored, or overlooked.  Patrick draws on his eclectic education, life experiences, the natural world, southern upbringing, and the peculiar outlook of the gay experience to present ways of making/re-making and perceiving/re-perceiving the world.
