Felix Kröcher has been one of the best-known techno greats in the German-speaking world for many years. Known for more than 100 shows a year, on the biggest stages, like the SonneMondSterne Festival, Nature One, or Mayday, Felix is known for his musical releases on labels like Terminal M, Filth On Acid, or Suara.

After a very successful and musical year 2021, Felix Kröcher is now releasing his last track for this year. His new single "Obsession" will be released on 10 December on his label "We Are The Night".   

His previous releases of the year "I Am The Night", "Passion", "Vision" and "Fusion" thematized Felix's deep connection to nightlife and the start into a new reality after the pandemic. These thoughts and feelings not only gave rise to the idea for his podcast "We Are The Night", but also formed the basis for his own label "We Are The Night".   

His new single "Obsession" is meant to reflect the great passion and obsession Felix has for music, nightlife and DJing. Felix Kröcher plays well over 100 shows a year, which makes it clear that this is not just a job for him. Being a DJ is his purpose in life, his obsession, what Felix is all about and what he is "addicted" to. No weekend in the year goes untried to be filled with a gig. For Felix, no way is too far to spend the night with his fans. Spending the weekend at home? That's out of the question for Felix.    

"Obsession" is a typical techno track à la Felix Kröcher. Straightforward kick accompanied by a powerful bassline. In the break, a warm, euphoric synth melody sets in, followed by an energetic drop.

Patrick Scuro, born Patrick Sontag, is a name that’s been sending shockwaves through the techno universe. From an early age, he found his musical calling, dabbling with keyboards and drums before swiftly taking his place behind the turntables. Under the alias “Pat Sundaze,” he began his conquest of the German club scene in 2018, quickly racking up an impressive tally of nearly 50 gigs in his first year, including an international appearance within just six months.

By the end of 2019, Patrick decided to hone in on techno, shelving “Pat Sundaze” and emerging in 2020 as “Patrick Scuro.” It was in the sacred space of Club Ost in Berlin that he started to lead his audience on awe-inspiring cosmic journeys, characterized by dark, melodic, and driving sounds designed to touch the soul.

2021 marked the launch of his own label, “Animarum Recordings,” a name derived from the Latin word for “souls.” The following year, he introduced  the underground label “Animarum Black,” dedicated to Hardgroove, Hardtechno, Raw & Hypnotic Techno.

The onset of 2023 saw Patrick’s track “Pulchra” hit the top spot on Spotify’s “Techno Bunker” playlist, and his single “Escalate” featured on the cover of the “Electronic Rising” playlist. That same year, he unveiled his harder alias, “SCURO BLACK,” cranking up the tempo to 140-160 bpm. His harder releases immediately soared up the charts, even breaking into the Hardtechno Top 10.

Mid-2023, alongside his best friend “Lewii,” Patrick founded the Progressive Goa / Progressive Psy Trance label “Animarum Progressive.” Under his old alias “Pat Sundaze,” he released his first Progressive Psytrance number, which shot straight into the Top 10 of the Psy-Trance charts and landed on Spotify’s largest Psytrance playlist, “Psytrance Supernova.”

Patrick’s influence is palpable both in clubs and online:
- On Beatport, nearly every single release charts.
- On Streaming, he boasts over 25 million streams and two entries in the German Spotify Charts. 

With releases on esteemed labels like Revealed Recordings, Alaula Music, and his own Animarum Recordings, Patrick has taken the techno world by storm.

His clubography and festival performances, from Airbeat One to Sputnik Springbreak, attest to his stage presence and influence.

Whether as Patrick Scuro or SCURO BLACK, his dedication and talent are unmistakable, making every performance and track a soulful experience.
