Crossing Worlds is a collection of tracks that will take you to worlds very different from each other. Get ready to be transported into space, into the depths of the ocean, a dystopian desert, and go soaring into the skies. The worlds await.

In this track, I push the boundary of raw, in-your-face, driven, rhythmic percussions and booming hits, maybe with tiny elements of sound-design.

This is a demo for Sonic Underworld's Zaphira, a sound-set for u-he Diva

The sounds are quite  brilliant in this one. They are instantly useable and inspiring. They are very creative, and will possibly push your music in pleasantly unexpected directions :)

No - Fly Zone

This is the original full mix (or creator's mix) of the demo track I submitted for @sonicunderworld Diva Sensai playlist. 20180513

Using mostly Diva Sensai patches, I arranged the track in an oriental style. The resulting track ends up being an oriental and electronic fusion.

Circular Emotions

Going Down is a track composed, arranged, and produced as one of the official demo tracks for Sonic Underworld's Meridian for uhe Repro 5. 20180113

The sound design for the Meridian sound set is excellent in depicting a dark futuristic track.

Going Down

DesertScape is another demo from me for Sonic Underworld's Valiant for u-he Zebra and The Dark Zebra! 20180216

The sound-set focuses on cinematic sci-fi sounds. It covers quite a lot of ground in the area of both delicate animated ambient textures and stark brooding electronic type patches in a variety of different categories.

Many of the sounds and arpeggiated patterns heard in this track are stock from the sound-set with minimal tweaking on my part. It has quite the moody electronic vibes from films in the vein of "Ghost in the Shell", "The Martian", "Total Recall 2049", "Arrival", and "Ex Machina".

DesertScape

Set Free is my latest original track, created as part of demo track for the latest Sonic Underworld sound set for u-he Zebra 2. The set features water and ocean inspired sound design instrument patches. 20180527

In this track, I try to create a free-floating feeling of a huge space, formless and without limit. In it, you are weightless and can go wherever you want, free from all burden and worry.

With the except of the piano, all other sounds are from the Zebra Aquatica sound set.

Another track composed for Sonic Underworld's Solaria for uhe Dark Zebra! 20190531

Musically it is simple. From the sounds, I want to express the serenity and beauty of endless space.

I was never fluent composing and working with electronic sounds and instruments. This was partly due to the fact that prior to hearing that sound, I can't imagine how it sounds like. Not knowing how my instruments sound like before hearing them is like working in empty space, pardon the pun. 

In this composition, I tried to keep the premise simple and tried to express more through the evolving sounds, instead of the composition. I listened more carefully and closely to the sounds, thinking about what kinds of feelings they evoke. Then I think about how to use them effectively, playing them to their strengths. 

At the end of the piece, I felt like I achieved a new sound that isn't originally in my existing commonly used musical "vocabulary" if that makes any sense at all. :)

Mind Melding

This track is written for Sonic Underworld's Synchron for Uhe Zebra. 

THe music brings me to the remains of a place that holds secrets to a civilisation long-forgotten. Her people are long gone and their ways of life but a faint memory.

With the inclusion of a live violin in the arrangement, this is the first collaboration with Huisze, a dedicated musician and a long-time friend of mine.
