UMEK’s 1605 is back with the latest instalment of it’s Desiderati 4 mixed artist series and along with a cut from the label owner himself, it also features thundering techno tracks by NoNameLeft, Beico and AKKI (DE).

All four of the tracks on the EP are peak time techno anthems in the style that UMEK has made his trademark, and in that sense it’s hard to pick a stand out favourite, but AKKI (DE)’s “Move My Body” has that little bit of extra magic.

AKKI (DE) is a German talent who has collaborated on hit tracks with the likes of the Cosmic Boys, but is also well-known for his contributions to labels such as Spartaque’s Codex Recordings and Monika Kruse’s Terminal M.

He has an epic style with pounding percussion that lays a foundation for powerful synths laced with a twisted euphoria and wrapped in dark atmospherics.

Move My Body opens with rumbling sub bass and a pounding kick drum while the lead synth slowly fades in and the tension builds. It hits a crescendo when the drums come crashing back in after the main breakdown, and its explosive finish is perfect for maximum impact on the dance floor.

Felix Kröcher has been one of the best-known techno greats in the German-speaking world for many years. Known for more than 100 shows a year, on the biggest stages, like the SonneMondSterne Festival, Nature One, or Mayday, Felix is known for his musical releases on labels like Terminal M, Filth On Acid, or Suara.

Just in time for the start of the festival season, this track represents Felix's great affection and connection to techno music. This is not only slumbering inside him, but he also wants to share it with his loyal fans and let them participate in his passion. 

„Affection" stands for the renewed coming together on the dance floor. WE ARE THE NIGHT.

Patrik Berg an uprising star of the german techno scene just released his rave the planet anthem remix after he closed the parade on Dr.Motte’s main stage.
He was totally able to catch, transfer, and deliver the vibe of the parade into this remix.
The track starts with stomping heavy drums and a rolling acid line. While keeping the original melody he added his own dance floor signature to the track.
