this is my ambient meandering for the day, i was playing with a hexatonic scale, which is tricky because the patterns of a normal mode/scale and the pentatonic patterns both are only one note different, which keeps you honest... you keep reaching for that note that isn't "legal" in the system

Gibson Les Paul [Seymour Duncan Jazz neck and '59 bridge] direct into the Allen Amps "Accomplice". Guitar volumes and tones on '10'. These were recorded in WAV format. There was absolutely no EQ, editing or enhancement. I literally recorded them, dumped the file to PC and then posted it here.

These clips are NOT anything special. Just basic chords, riffing and playing. This is just a "one shot, one take, whatever happens is what you get" track - it was all done REAL quick and hasty just to get an idea of the sound. The idea was not to impress anyone with my playing, but just to capture the sound so that those wondering about the tones on the amp, the amp's sound/voice, the gain available, etc might get the gist of it. I think I did that reasonably well.

"Waldtroll," meaning "forest troll," reflects the introversion, weight, and pensiveness of a forest dweller. I wrote this in August 2020, and maybe I'll upload a better recording in the future. This piece is more free-form than my usual pieces, and it is inspired by jazz, impressionism, and one figure from the Adagio of Joaquín Rodrigo's Concierto de Aranjuez.
