you may remember me from soundcloud as “PattyPerk” or “Lil Blizzard” - I’ve had a love for sample based hip hop since I was 15. when i was 18, i blew up on vine. i got distracted from what i really cared about for a really long time.

i called this album “Ata Vism”, because the word “atavism” means “a tendency to revert to something ancient or ancestral”. it’s a testament to the fact that skills and passion are not lost through the test of time. you love what you love, even if you forget it sometimes. it can also mean “recurrence of traits of an ancestor in a subsequent generation” - style and skill passed through versions of yourself.
