Holy bananas this is old.  It morphed into "Heyoka Rode" eventually, which is totally different but has some of the same riffs and lyrical themes....some of my riffs are so complex that they deserve to be played different ways, sometimes - At the time I recorded it, I wasn't happy with it because I wanted real drums, was stuck with making beats that don't sound like a real drummer, and I scrapped it...quit music for a while.  Revisiting it so many years later.......I am blown away by how dumb I can be, which is why I need ChrystCha to tell me.  I don't have any outside perspective otherwise. This is HEAVY and actually badass.  The image is my art. 

This used to be called "Kiss The Abyss", which is a stupid name for a song and I realized what gross ideas people could associate with that concept like, oh I won't even say, except for one thing.....like someone would certainly have it occur to them that crawling inside a beached whale's vagina would be "inside the abyss" and it is good to think of these things, or you might write lyrics without realization, like: 

"I'm hot blooded, check it and see, I've got a fever of a hundred and three....are you old enough, don't let your parents call your bluff, you're 14 and you got a muff" - and it becomes a hit, and then you're Foreigner.  Can't have that.  

This stands on its own.  Now ChrystCha tells me me earlier stuff is better than the new stuff.....she can kiss my ass with talk like that, I mean kiss the abyss.  

Abyss Mall.  I am not Dave Brockie, though it might seem like it sometimes.  R.I.P
