Hal Atkinson was a gifted performer, singer, song writer, and actor.   He loved his family and his friends madly.  In early January, Hal went to the big jam session in the sky.   More and more of his music will be posted as we remember this humorous and talented man.

Jeanne Arland Peterson, pianist extraordinary,  recorded all the songs she knew at a Yamaha piano store, thanks to son Paul setting it up.  She created several CDs on that day, and this song is from the CD "My Calendar".   Grandma's Turkey is a medley of songs about Thanksgiving.

I recorded Nature Boy from "The More I See You" CD with an all star cast.  David Hazeltine on piano, Billy Peterson on bass, Kenny Horst on drums and Ira Sullivan on horn.  Ira's soprano sax is the perfect compliment to this wild track.  Live in the studio.  One take.. wow! What a ride.
