Pat Winter has always been surrounded by music. He grew up in São Paulo, Brazil, regularly going backstage at shows with his father who worked at one of the biggest concert halls in the city. When he was eleven he got a guitar for Christmas from his mom, and immediately fell in love.

From his early teenage years through college he played and performed with a progressive rock band, several metal bands, and a 10 piece jam band while exploring his interest in instrumental jazz, Brazilian music, and funk. Equipped with this eclectic and diverse history, he began singing, composing, and producing music.

His new EP Accelerated is influenced by the Brazilian heartbeat, neo-funk soul, rock n' roll, reggae, and hip-hop. It is energetic and positive, reflecting on love, vices, self doubt, and freedom.

"I want to focus on positive energy and hope people will have a good time listening. My mission is to capture feelings that can elevate our spirit. The tracks on the EP have their own particular sounds but are woven together by this common thread."

Pat Winter and his long time friend Fadel Dabien teamed up to produce the EP.
