Not only do we present BW guest mix 007 to you but also the next guest for our second BW event which takes place on March 25 at Silbergold in Frankfurt: Istanbul based Günce Acı. 

Weaving between the genres, Günce has been joining hypnotic dots in the darkest shadows of indie-dance, acid, letfield techno and electronica. Her hypnotic pads, heavy basslines and enchanting melodies meet under the roof of her signature sound which created entirely with analog synthesizers or sample and drum machines.

Günce Acı became a highlighted name in the Istanbul electronic music scene, recently started to spin in clubs all across Europe and releasing her eps, singles and remixes on labels like Ombra International, Dischi Autunno and Critical Monday.

In the evergreen forests, along with the interwoven paths of the Indians, among the Ancient Pyramids surrounded by Amazonian spirals, our lone pilgrim is steadily overcoming challenges he faces along the way. Stripping away all illusions, he reaches an even deeper level of introspection. 

On his path illuminated by the mystical knowledge from the otherworldly dimensions, our pilgrim wonders about his higher purpose. With this in mind, he reaches his destination. Here, all possible and impossible are tightly knitted together, creating kaleidoscopic patterns ... What a sacred place ...

Images of animals, people, stars and distant planets performing the dance of life appear before his eyes ...

Where is he going to go now? Which direction to follow? Is he going to go right? Left? Go up or perhaps, all the way down?

He closes his eyes ... Deep inhale followed by slow exhale ... Doors of perception open up slowly. Gentle lull of solitary meditation reveals a clue that puts everything in place :

- “It's not so much about the direction, but why you stick to it” ...

The moment his eyes gently blink open ... He chooses love ...

X.Y.R. - AMATEUR EXOTIC'S TRIBE QUEST

The sun had begun to set over the golden sands, painting the sky's canvas with bright shades of reds and burnt orange. As far as the eye could see clusters of trees bordered the river bank, enclosing the water's mighty current as it swept up leaves and pieces of debris in its path. But further down the bank, the waters were calm and inviting. People from the local towns and villages had all come to bathe together before sunset and usher the night in as one. As the glowing sun took its leave once more, everybody raised a hand in unison and waved their goodbyes.

Under his Wolf Müller guise, Jan Schulte has collaborated on a new EP with Egyptian and Kenyan musicians as part of a project run by arts and music organisation, Santuri East Africa. The Salon Des Amateurs resident matches his signature percussive production with the talents of collaborators Rapasa Nyatrapasa, Kasiva Mutua and Adel Mekha, with the results getting a release on Nouvelle Ambiance.

Starting by the head honcho from "Themes For Great Cities", monsieur Lucas Croon remixing the track Aurora, spicing the groove with some beautiful classic drum machines and trippy atmospheric layers. M.RUX's wonderful version of Zingili transports you to an unexpected, soft and intriguing territory while flirts with syncopated schizophrenic grooves. Ground's minimalistic version of Baskéda jumps into a hypnotic acidic vibe full of surprises and intense for the dance floor peak. And "nel gran finale" Rodion's cyberpunk version of Bahiafro has an imposing strong bass line attitude and futuristic layers.

Brazilian born, Berlin based, Paty Vapor is a multifaceted artist known for her roles as DJ, curator and event producer. 

She is part of the Italian label-collective Slow Motion / Wrong Era and co-founder of the female-focused event series 'Wisdom Tits & The Mad Express presents'. Holding a residency at the Berlin club Sameheads and at Blum in her hometown Sao Paulo, she regularly showcases her sound at the pinnacle of Berlin's venues, across Europe, and in Brazil, solo or as one half of the DJ duo ‘Wisdom Tits’ alongside Caillou.

Her sets evoke an old-school nostalgia of the ’80s, weaving through EBM, Electro, and Industrial, smoothly blending with Synthpunk, Wave, obscure Italo and Belgian New Beat. Characterized by powerful kicks, bold basslines, ethereal synths, and enigmatic vocals. Paty Vapor's sonic tapestry is a captivating fusion of the old and the avant-garde.
