Bloody good show we thought. Well happy geezers as winkle snoozed off on the sofa and I hit the hay. Next morning I checked the recording and..

BALLBAGS! the first 45mins was all glitchy :( Winkle decided we should do it again, so we did. 45mins of loveliness... and it GLITCHED AGAIN!

Pub. Day ended. Next day winx was round again, and we did it over, all good.

Turns out Focusrite don't play nice with Mavericks. Who knew? Who cared even?

The first track is by Marlow, and I have been gagging to play it for ages. Third track is new from Locoto and I'm big on his gear as you probably know by now. There is new marx trukker and a pile of new records (the new leif LP is proper special), plus a fist full of old 7"

Kr!z has been at the forefront of techno for more than a decade. Influenced by the hypnotic and energetic sound helmed by veterans such as Jeff Mills, Steve Rachmad and James Ruskin, he gradually but steadily developed his own identity in the international techno scene. 

After making a name for himself as a skilled DJ with sharp focus and a quick mixing style in home country Belgium and the Netherlands, Kr!z launched Token Records in 2007. It has since been a leading outlet for heady, purist sounds. 

As a DJ, Kr!z takes listeners on journey’s surpassing space and time. Led by deeply hypnotic grooves, syncopated rhythms and widely reverberating atmospheres, his desire to guide the dancefloor into unknown depths can be felt with every note. Nation of Gondwana has a very special place in our hearts. It’s not only the first festival Caleesi ever went to - it’s also a long-standing institution for the German rave scene for almost 30 years now. We love all the traditions this festival upholds - from the famous rainbow under the fire department’s fountain of water, the Grünefeld women’s choir opening the festival at Seebühne, or Sven Dohse’s traditional closing track “Die Kugel Rollt” on Wiese….we’re humbled and touched to have the honour of playing the closing set of the Afterhour in beautiful Spelunke. Thank you for the trust <3

And lastly, thank you to you, the ravers, for being with us on a 5.5 hour journey through the rain. It truly moves us to see all your faces smiling with eyes closed, swaying to the music and letting the sound take you away. Here’s the recording of a rainy morning in an enchanted forest.
