Born in the dark streets of Cairo, grown to the unforgettable forests of Santa Esmeralda, spending its teen years in Bombay and Tangier markets, mature into the deep spacey Jungle of Ghana we proudly present you a new label from the land of the pyramids: SHANGO RECORDS invites you to an unheard world music psychedelic trip: like through a colorful kaleidoscope we will melt down Indian and Pakistani Vibes, Arab-Tek and Oriental groovy vibes, Afro-Beat rhythms n' pieces, Cumbia Tropicana flavors and cosmic Ghetto-Latin vibes into forbidden sounds of frenzied electronic dancefloor rituals. Outside traditional paths these driving grooves and polyphonic structures take the adventure seeking dancer to Dionysian highs and places never been before.

An imaginarium is a place devoted to the imagination. There are various types of imaginaria, centers largely devoted to stimulating and cultivating the imagination, towards scientific, artistic, commercial, recreational, or spiritual ends. These centers can be identified in various places of our everyday life and is a matter of eclectic selection to identify the imaginaria that is suitable to our imagination boundaries. The more we search the more we can find a place beyond our expectations, like the purple mountains of Kuala Loubour, the ancient temple of Notre Dame or the hanging gardens of Babylon. Yabiru’s calling us from the deepest end of his imaginaria center to a journey beyond expectations. This is his first offering for Shango Records. These two tracks can enlighten your senses and heal your body. Da Iguana and Mondul are showing the way to the seven wonders of the ancient World.

HYPERFIXATIONS is Ritmo Futuro’s new compilation series, showcasing the tracks we’re most intensely drawn to - our sonic obsessions. These are not just songs, they are moments of hyper focus, the kind that pulls us in so deeply that time and space collapse into pure sensation.

Each volume in these series serves as a capsule of what we’re fixated on in a given moment—tracks that demand attention, command the dancefloor, or linger in the subconscious long after the party ends.

Concept – Volume 1
The debut volume, HYPERFIXATIONS vol. 1, dives into the visceral experience of musical hyperfocus. It draws inspiration from the immersive state one enters when a track hits just right on a dancefloor—when sound becomes sensation, when rhythm overtakes thought. This phenomenon parallels the trance-like focus described by Formula 1 drivers: total presence, no longer processing visually, only feeling instinctively.


Curated by Rick Offen, vol. 1 is crafted to be more than a compilation, it’s a complete sonic journey. From the first beat to the last echo, the sequence is intentional: a narrative arc that guides the listener through tension, release, introspection, and euphoria.

The compilation features a wide spectrum of voices in the Ritmo Futuro orbit, including:
