my favorite book is « Ableton for dummies » lol it’s Harry Potter of course 

2)  If you were a super-hero, what powers would you have? 
If I were a super hero I would love to be able to fly but I think what I would really love is to have a space ship and to travel through different dimensions and planets 🪐 

3) What's the longest you've gone without sleep (and why)?
I think the most that I didn’t sleep is from 24 to 30h in festivals but  it doesn’t happen so often because I really love to sleep

If you've been in the club scene for many years like David Dorad, you will one day face the big, essential, serious questions that each of us will ask ourselves sooner or later:

Are marmots pack animals?
Can marmots sign language?
Do marmots plan their lives according to European or Chinese zodiac signs?
Do marmots need a special passport, after all they don't have a thumb to turn the pages?
What happens when a marmot eats Coke and Mentos at the same time?

And with all those questions whistling, hissing and muttering in his head, David grabbed piano, baton and BioBassline to crochet his new EP. This is called "Marble" and offers 6 different approaches to solve these big questions. As a source of ideas, he has competent partners at his side in Roman Flügel, Mira, Christopher Schwarzwälder, Canson and Sascha Cawa.

What a year!

Just when it felt like there was already enough drama going on for a whole century in a tiny decade, things became worse and more confusing by the hour. A sadly too well known Russian dictator started invading Ukraine in early 2022 and as of the years end is not showing signs of retreat. 

The time to not be political has clearly come to an end and so we set out to empathize with our sisters and brothers that have lost their homes, ripped their lives apart and express our condolence to those that have lost their loved ones. There is very little in our power to help, but with this compilation we try to raise at least a little money to help those in need. 

Since we're a record label and not an NGO we decided to forward 100% of the profits to Blindspots e.V., an organisation dedicated to help distribute material donations and evacuate people from embattled cities. You can read more about their work here:

While the track ’Swamp Blues‘ is an extroverted piece of energy, ’Absence‘ tells an introspective story investigating absent-minded states and the longing for a significant other that is not here. Being absent allows you to escape from stress and negative experiences. You may enjoy the feeling of freedom and independence that comes with being absent and not being tied down to specific obligations or responsibilities, but there is a tipping point where the absence of other(s) and absent mindedness become annoying.

Inspired by Brazilian mythology, "Boiuna" is a tribute to the legendary black snake, also known as Cobra Grande. This nocturnal creature is referred to as the most powerful beast of the rivers of the Amazon rainforest. We are thrilled to present our 19th release "Mapinguari," a captivating musical journey created by the talented Brazilian artists Mandruvá and Torstol. Inspired by the legendary creature of the Amazon rainforest, this EP features two unique remixes by Leonor and A-Tweed.

The Legend of Mapinguari: Rooted in the rich folklore of the Amazon Region, the Mapinguari legend tells of a forest-dwelling creature, a hairy giant with one eye on its forehead and a mouth on its navel. Some believe it is covered in brown/red fur, while others say it dons armor made from the shell of a tortoise. This mythical being's origins remain shrouded in mystery, with various versions attributing its existence to indigenous tribes living in the heart of the rainforest. According to certain beliefs, individuals of a certain age may undergo a transformation into the Mapinguari, leading them to seek solace in the isolation of the lush woodlands.

The "Mapinguari" EP combines the visionary prowess of Mandruvá and Torstol, resulting in an enchanting blend of sounds that draws listeners into the heart of the Amazonian mystery. Leonor and A-Tweed contribute their unique interpretations, adding further layers of depth and artistry to this already captivating release. The sonic world of "Mapinguari" by Mandruvá & Torstol will be available on all digital Plattforms from September 15th 2023. Founder of the Mexican electronic label @bonkersmsc since 2018

Directly involved with social and environmental causes in Brazil, Murillo Faleiros is an educator and biologist. Known as mandruvá (@mandruvamusic), the producer and DJ carries in his expression a universal background of diverse musical styles. The artist has worked for major national and international labels, such as Casa Caos, Tropical Twista, AKASHA MX, trndmsk, Cafe de Anatolian, MONADA, Lump, Shango, Baikal Nomads, Kosa, among others. His storytelling aired on different radio stations and labels around the world, such as radiOzora, voodoohop, Deep House Moscow, Mousike and more.
